Q: can someone help me what would be the best pick for extra light strings im a beginner?

Depending I think if you have an acoustic or electric guitar. I started on an electric guitar using a heavy pick on 9-42 strings which is a light guage string. I recently trying a light pick which seems to be that bit better for certain types of music. I would suggest buying a small selection of picks of different thickness, as picks are very cheap, and choose the one you feel comfortable with, but If you are learning on a nylon string spanish guitar I would go for a light pick, or if a steel string guitar then buy a multi pack of picks and pick the one that's best for you.

I received 12. 4 at 0.46mm thickness, 4 at 0.71mm and 4 at 0.81mm

Yes, you get a varietals of gauges (different thicknesses). I use the thickest for bass guitar and the others for guitar (electric and semi-acoustic). Hope this helps.
