Keeps my garbage cat from eating my makeup blenders
I adopted the cutest, fluffiest little cat from the animal shelter in January, and I love her endlessly and forever and all, but she is also a garbage creature who loves to sink her little teeth into anything soft, whether it's my arm, a cotton ball, or a beauty blender. I'll let her bite my arm if she feels like it -- boundaries are important for people and pets -- and the cotton balls were easy enough to relocate into a tall jar with a lid. But since I rinse my makeup blender daily and need to air it out between uses in a stand, I was constantly forgetting to place it high enough on a shelf to keep them out of the jaws of my ridiculous little rescue. I don't even want to admit how many times I came home to find my newly replaced blender in some corner of the living room covered in fur and puncture marks from claws and cat fangs. Then I found this thing. It's easy to use, allows my makeup blender to dry completely between uses, and has already survived being knocked off of the counter top by one furious little trash kitten.Bonus for musical nerds: it's sort of shaped like baby Audrey II, so I hope you enjoy having the Little Shop soundtrack in your head every morning as much as I do.

helpful to hold my beauty blender
I was looking for a product that would help me store my beauty blender on my counter in my bathroom. This one does that and allows for travel. I haven't traveled with it yet, but I will eventually!I tried drying my beauty blender with the holder closed - it didn't dry. It's winter, so it may work more effectively in the summer (time will tell). I took the spinning outside portion off and put it away. Then I only store the blender on the stand during the day and it dries ok, and shrinks down most of the way. One weekend I let it sit there for 2 days without using the beauty blender, and it was back down to original size.So overall, this seems like the best holder/carrier for a beauty blender I could currently find on the market! It just needs maybe a few holes on the back side to make it even better and more effective!

Very Helpful to Keep Things Clean
I actually ordered one of these Blenderelle makeup sponge holders a while back. I can see it being very useful for keeping makeup sponges clean by lifting them off a surface and keeping dust off of them while drying -- I've been using the first one (and now the two) I have to store my menstrual cups in my medicine cabinet. As I toggle between the two cups I have for 'that time again', these drying stands have been remarkably useful (stands are also sanitized). Not exactly the intended purpose for this item, but they work perfectly for this use. So, thank you for a very practical and lovely way to store my brave little cups and keep them safe and ready for their next round of 'combat'. *Photos of menstrual cups in the Blenderelle stands not available to protect the identities of the cups, out of respect for the cups. And because I am lazy. But you get the idea ;)

Keeps makeup sponges clean! 100% recomend
Love love love this item. Fits a wide variety of makeup sponges (beauty blender, aesthetica, eco tools, target up &up brand). The only one i have found to be to large is the Sonia kashuk makeup sponge (it fits when 100% dry, but gets far to large when wet). It looks pretty & keeps your sponges off dirty surfaces, & allows them to dry. I have found that the rotating "door" can pop off, especially if your sponge is to big, but it lops right back on.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for something that was vented well for drying the sponge but still protected the sponge and kept it clean while traveling with it in my makeup bag or just sitting out on my vanity and the Blenderelle works great for this. I have both the Real Techniques sponge and the Eco Tools sponge and while they both fit, the Eco Tools sponge while damp does take a little bit more care when closing the Blenderelle due to the non-pointed shape of the Eco Tools sponge.

It sort of works
I mean it's fine??... idk, it fine if you want a cute thing to put on your desk to keep it in to dry and store. But it's not gunna protect it from dust or anything so it's kind of pointless that way. I actually bought mine for tavel, I wanted to have something I could throw a expanded sponge into and be able to pack away in my bag right away without worrying about it getting my luggage messy or moist. I guess it did that??? But like the moment you pull it out of your bag it will try to fall apart or open when you aren't expecting it. Maybe I'm just clumsy or to ruff with my belongings but it's really low quality plastic and they could have made the turning mechanism a lot tighter so it doesn't just fall open whenever it feels like it.

Material
I like the look of the container and that it holds different shape sponges. If its just sitting in your bathroom on the counter or in the medicine cabinet then cool, but to travel with it is a negative it cracks easier it's a plastic material I thought it would be something flexy or bendy so if something is pressed against it, it would maintain its shape and not break.

It gets the job done
A very clever design: one of the sides/halves has a series of artistically-arranged openings to allow your blender to air/dry. When it's finished drying, you remove it, then you can swivel that side around the base that supports both sides, thereby making it look like a black rose or tulip. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 is because a few diagrams inside the box would have made it easier to discover that the halves swivel, and don't have to be opened or separated from their base. It's a very nifty little gadget, it looks good, and if there's anything that can help inhibit the growth of, ugh, bacteria on a $10-$20 blender sponge, I am all for it, sister. Well worth buying.
