Neck damage due to “under” packing.
It’s a great instrument as PRS guitars tend to be. I am returning this one because I believe the neck was internally damaged due to an amateur packing job. String height cannot be dialed in with trust rod adjustment and/or bridge height adjustment.

My favorite guitar in 50 years of playing
I've been playing guitar for a very long time, and I've owned at least a dozen guitars in that time. The is my favorite out of all of them. The neck profile is just right, it is perfectly balanced (no "neck dive"), and it sounds great.I originally thought that the pickups were a gimmick, but they really do deliver both a humbucker and a single-coil sound at the flick of a switch. The fit and finish is perfect.The only thing I'm not crazy about is the tuners. The low E is hard to tune, but the guitar does stay in tune very well.The shorter scale takes a little getting used to, but the lower string tension afforded by the shorter scale makes pitch bending much easier.
