AquaGear Universal Case for All Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab Models/Waterproof to 6 M

I used this with a HUDL 2 running the Ordnance Survey map application in place of a paper map, whilst out walking.Initially seemed promising but there is a design fault: There is a cable within the case that has an audio jack on the end of it which plugs into the port on the tablet. This brings the audio jack socket to outside the case so you can plug in headphones whilst the tablet is in the case. Only problem is that the connector inside the case projects below the tablet so that most of the weight of the tablet is focused on this connector. After a few walks I noticed that the edge of the case had failed at this point, leaving a hole at the bottom of the case. Somewhat miffed at this, but I patched this with a plaster I happened to have with me.But worse was to follow. Later that same day I noticed the case seemed to be hanging at a rather odd angle. I discovered that one of the tabs at the top of the case, with the metal eyelet where the shoulder strap attaches, had snapped clean off, failing at the point where it attaches to the case. So now I had to carry it by hand.Best thing I can say is that the shoulder strap is probably much tougher than the case itself, so at least I can use it with other equipment. Otherwise a bit of a waste of time.
