Gorgeous Quality/Fast Monitor. Check for pixels.
Changing my review from 2 starts. The monitor came with a dead pixel from factory. However, ASUS has done their part. Shipping it back and getting it repaired was a seamless process. I was able to track exactly what stage of the repair process it was in the whole time. Check your monitors with a black screen to instantly rule out any dead pixel, I literally had just ONE. With that being said, this a beautiful monitor. Quality Going from 1080p to 1440p at 27" really does feel like 4K because of the screen size. It has great in-depth settings. Colors/Panel I personally switch back and forth for RPG games and FPS modes with it's according presets. It has GORGEOUS Colors. I still haven't set the HDR mapping either. I would say the monitor is very red/yellow dominant. I personally like when the colors are a bit over saturated, this monitor does do that and combined with the brightness of the LED it makes the colors super vivid. Refresh Rate The 300Hz refresh rate is a must. I only can go up to 120hz on the Xbox Series X and when I returned it to get repaired, and switched to my old 60hz monitor, this was the biggest noticeable difference and I never got used to it. It's a massive difference, I couldn't imagine when over clocking it to 300hz. I have seen others comment on eye strain/discomfort. If this happens to you just play with your screen temp and black levels. I personally like having cold temp colors. This monitor has made gaming a more immersive and attractive experience. I definitely recommend, just check those pixels!

Great by!
This by far is the best monitor for a 4090 graphics card set up. Why, for competition gaming stable 300 hz. I mean stable. Set up correctly that's even with ultra settings. Depends greatly on your knowledge of Nvidia control panel and in app setting, however, the sniper function is entirely too much fun. I have an Alienware 4k 240 monitor beside it collecting dust. IOPS is amazing. For the price point you will not be disappointed. You will be laughing!

Fluid Motion
When I built my new PC, I wanted to find a display that could take advantage of my new 7900 XTX card and push 2K gaming to the highest frame rates possible. This display has been excellent and provides fantastic fluid motion and great clarity/brightness. My only qualm is the small stabilizing leg on the back of the stand pushing it further forward on my desk than I would like.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS
600$ paper weight. I bought this monitor 3 months ago and was extremely pleased with it for 2 months until one day I turned it on and it just stopped displaying any images. No OSD, no images, just backlight. Nothing happened to it, just one day nothing. Now I have to RMA it with 7+ days shipping to arrive, 7+ days shipping for it to come back, and who knows how long it will take for them to actually "fix" it. Oh and conveniently, it broke JUST past the window I could return or ask for a replacement, because Asus doesn't care about providing a product that will actually last longer than that 3 month window. My friend bought the exact same monitor within a week of me, and has spent the entire time owning trying to fix an issue where the monitor will go black for 2-5 seconds before returning to normal. Searching these problems on google reveals hundreds of people with the same issue. It's just disappointing to see modern technology implemented so poorly. Stop cheaping out on the construction of your product and build a real product next time.

Almost Zero Ghosting. Amazing vibrant Colors, and dark scenes. 10/10
This monitor is amazing. Did 8+ hours of research of trying to find the right monitor. I was looking for a 2k monitor, around 240hz with no ghosting, and one with no common issues. I ended up choosing this monitor, as the Alienware 280hz 2k had a ton of reports of bad backlight bleed, and the Gigabyte M27Q X (2k 240hz) had a lot of reports of dead pixels, and not as good colors. I got this monitor, and it was perfect. the colors are insane, there's basically no backlight bleed, (a slight amount on the corners, but hardly noticeable.) And next to no ghosting. Also features like adaptive dimming are crazy. I turned it on for a really dark scene in a game where I couldn't see a thing and could see everything after turning it on. Great monitor for competitive gaming, dark scene games, and amazing colors for enjoying movies and vibrant games. Had to return it though since it ended up being out of my price range for right now. 10/10 monitor.

Didn't come with plastic peal and other signs of a being a new monitor, also displays black lines across the screen when at 240, 270, and 300hz. Will be returning for refund.

The monitor works fine, but the thing that blew my mind is how Asus messed up so bad, making a 300HZ monitor with HDMI 2.0 ports and you need an HDMI 2.1 port to get the whole 300HZ, so unless you use a DisplayPort you’re fine if you decide to use it for a laptop or anything with an HDMI, you’ll need to get a new cable with different ends (DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1)
