Awesome reel getting another one at this price.

Loved my new reel so much I bought another one. Wife and I have used these reels for a couple seasons for multiple trips to surf fish off the carolinas. We have paired them up with a 12' and 13' rod and they cast 100 yards. I've only had the bale snap down on one cast, but my penn spinfisher has done this as well. They are beautiful looking reels that still look brand new after dozens of outings. We do thoroughly rinse them off after every day fishing and have not a single corrosion issue. I have actually ran into 3 other fisherman that were using the same reel with the same positive options about the reels. They are a slight bit smaller than your typical 7000 series reels , but not by that much. The extra spool comes in handy if you need to switch up the size of line your using. My only wish is that the drag alarm/indicator/ clicker on the baitfeeder would be louder so you can hear it over the sound of the surf. Would highly recommend!

I love love love this reel. The casting performance is top notch. Appearance is sharp and sleek. So very easy to use. A great value for the cost. Strong and durable. Worth the money.

1 year after owning the thing still works fine but is definitely loose in certain areas, you can tell the difference between this and 150$ reel but at the same time, for the cost, you wont get much better. Ive landed multiple 20lb + cats with this reel and the drag has not stripped out

Very impressed with the quality of the reel it was smooth when it came and was smoother after I took it apart cleaned and applied pen grease and the drag is very smooth AFTER I oiled the drag washers (they always come dry due to shipping even abu garcia comes dry and if used dry the drag washers burn and get ruined). On a side note I was very surprised to find SEALED bearings in this reel which I did not see coming for the price I am very satisfied

The spool body is missing 50% material below the where the fishing line should be. Often line gets trapped underside and get tangled up. Need to unwind the front drag to untangle lol.
