Finding a reliable water filtration system can be challenging, but the GE 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Under Sink Water Filtration System with Faucet is a fantastic choice. I was having a hard time locating this system, and I'm not sure why I didn't think to check Amazon first—thankfully, I found it there. This system is highly effective, reducing over 95% of contaminants from the water, providing clean and safe drinking water straight from your tap. The installation is straightforward, and the included faucet is both functional and sleek, fitting nicely into my kitchen setup. Given how difficult these systems can be to find, I'm glad I finally got my hands on one through Amazon. If you're in the market for a top-tier water filtration system, this GE model is definitely worth considering. Highly recommended!

Went through the installation process, which was quite easy, and turned on the water to the system. Started leaking from where the filters attach to the manifold. Turned off the water and inspected the filters. Didn't find anything clearly indicating it could be the cause, so I reinstalled the filters. Of course it leaked again so I had to shut off the water. I looked in the manual for troubleshooting guidance, and there was nothing about leaking at the filter connections. I did some searching online, and I don't know how this product is so highly rated on Amazon. Other sellers' reviews on this product indicate about a 50/50 chance you get one that isn't leaky like this. I would not recommend and will be returning through Amazon.

Follow Directions to the T on cleaning and installing. Its a plumbing device something is bound to leak the first time. Hold your mouth right and install it and run before you see another drop.

This system is very simple to install, but takes up a bit of undersink cabinet space for the filters and holding tank. Nevertheless, the tank and filters can be remotely installed to save cabinet space. Once properly installed, it takes a bit of time of flushing and regenerating before it's ready to dispense drinkable water. Finally after all of the preliminary setup, it dispenses great tasting and clean water. The flow of the water from the spigot is not the same pressure that would come out from your regular faucet, it comes out at a more relaxed rate. It's perfect for filling up a glass, a water bottle, or a pot for cooking. If you want to fill up a vessel much larger than that, it may take a while. The regeneration process takes a bit of time, but that's why there's an auxiliary pressure tank to hold prefiltered water for immediate consumption. During regeneration you'll hear water trickling down the drain and possibly hear it running through the air gap built into the faucet. (This is only when installed in a typical undersink fashion.) The noise from this is minimal and is a normal functioning process of this water system; it will stop then the pressure tank reaches full capacity. The spigot has a built-in consumption sensor/timer that reminds you to replace certain filters at 6 months and other filters at 12 months. It's a basic reminder light that resets its 6 month timer each time you change the battery. The filters are easy to replace with only a twist and pull while the remineralization filter requires two push in hose connections. The plumbing components included in the kit are high quality from the all metal spigot to the name brand hoses. They should hold up for a lifetime of normal use. This is a very nice water system that's simple to maintain, filters water well, and looks attractive at your sink. It's a necessary appliance for your home to ensure fresh water for you and your family.

Very leak prone. Difficult to install. Very low flow rate of RO water once you fix all the leaks. You won’t want to stand there to fill a glass of water. A coffee pot? Forget it.

I really like this unit for the most part. I really only have one con. Lets cover that con first. 4 filters? some are 6 mo and some are 12 mo. In reality like most other filters, you will get 3-4 months on the 6 mo and 8-9 mo on the 12 mo. Only in idea conditions will you get the rated duration. I live in an area with 400-700 TDS tap so filters last only a short time frame. Now this is fine and to be expected, but to replace the 4 filters it will cost $200 +. There are much cheaper units in terms of filter replacements. Keep this in mind. The unit itself installs as easy as possible. If you are replacing an existing unit, the install is far quicker and easier. Instructions are clear and concise. The unit runs as it should and the flow rate is accurate. My TDS went from 500 to 20-30. Since this has a tank, you do not have to run water before use. If sound is important to you, this is a quiet unit. Again, this is a good unit, and it runs well. Filters have typical longevity. With that said, there are tons of water filters out there that work well. I would base any purchase off of yearly cost.
