Argos Oil Drum Charcoal BBQ with Cover

Was a bit fiddly to assemble on my own. But did not take too long. First time ever to assemble anything this big. Really pleased with how it cooked food. Easy to clean. Having fun fool on the coal rack was a bonus easy to remove make sure all coals are cold before emptying.As an added bonus it came with a cover and cooking utensils.

Pleased to say the product was easy to assemble with practical instructions. Liked the fittings on the labelled card, one day all self assembly units will contain screws and fittings presented this way. My only disappointment was that I was not aware I was getting a previously returned product - should have realised though as the supplier's name is a bit of a giveaway! Haven't had chance to use it yet so can only rate as 4 stars.

Very happy with this BBQ. Very good value. Easy to construct and looks great. Friends we've had over have commentated on how professional it looks. I bought a BBQ cleaning brush which I would recommend doing, will make it last longer. Shelf inside for putting cooked food on to keep warm can be tricky to use, but a small point on an otherwise excellent product

Didn't workIt must have been a reconditioned or returned product because when it arrived the box was dented and obviously not factory sealed.When trying to build it we realised why it had been returned the first time, there was a manufacturing defect with the lid which meant that the hinges wouldn't work.If bought full price from the original shop, and worked, it would have been a reasonable bbq but sadly this one will be returned.It shoud say clearly in the description that it is reconditioned but it doesn't.Don't buy.

Quite good for the price - the only part that is fiddly is the rack in the lid. It falls off easily!

The barbecue itself it decent enough and pretty straight-forward, but there are many people buying this item and then re-selling it for nearly twice the retail price. Not cool. But like I say, the barbecue itself if decent. It's a good size. pretty easy to assemble and pretty much does just what you need.
