Instead of the normal hair dye that splatters everywhere and has to sit for 30 minutes, this works like regular shampoo. You just lather it in your hair and it foams up so you know it’s covering everything. Leave it on about 15 minutes, then rinse it out.No mess, no stains everywhere, and it actually works! It is a 16.9 oz bottle so you can use it many times like normal shampoo and honestly… worth it.

It works just like a regular shampoo, which made the application super simple and mess free. It left my hair feeling healthy and soft, not damaged at all.

I love this product they only thing I found was that after rinsing it felt very dry but all I did was use my conditioner and perfect.

I finally got the package. It went MIA.. I wouldn’t call this a shampoo. It is basically hair dye. I got the deep red wine and it is brighter than I expected but I also left it one for about 30 minutes. It did cover the grey hair though. I didn’t have any transfer on my pillow case at night like I have had with other box dyes.

I like this dye shampoo as opposed to box dyes. It got the job done, but no grey coverage FYI.

They should provide more information about this product. What the details don't tell you that the instruction sheet does is that "Dark color shampoo works on light shade, while light color shampoo can not work on dark shade." It instructs you to bleach your dark hair before using lighter-colored shampoos to dye it. It also tells you that this is not for gray hair coverage. It dyed my dark hair a little, but nowhere near the color it is supposed to be. On the positive side, I like that you don't have to premix this shampoo hair dye as with other standard hair dyes. It also does not stain the skin once rinsed out. I have used the black dye of this before, and I love the results and the ease of using it. The black does cover my grey edges, but it fades back to the grey within a few days to a week.

I bought this hoping for a natural blonde-brown tone, but after reading the ingredients I was shocked. This dye uses p-phenylenediamine (PPD), resorcinol, ammonia, and hydrogen peroxide — the classic “toxic cocktail” in permanent hair color. • PPD is a well-known allergen that can trigger severe reactions (swelling, rashes, dermatitis). • Resorcinol is linked to hormone disruption. • The ammonia + peroxide combo not only irritates the skin but also causes long-term hair damage. • Add in a handful of aromatic amines (p-aminophenol, m-aminophenol, 1-naphthol, etc.), and you have a formula that raises real safety concerns. Yes, it colors hair effectively, but at a cost: high risk of irritation now, and long-term health risks with repeated use. If you have sensitive skin or want to avoid harsh chemicals, this is not the product for you.

My mom loves it. She hates when she buys a hair product and it doesn’t cover her gray hair, but this one covered them perfectly fine. She is on her 5 bottle and she loves it.
