This is a very well made knife for the price. Excellent balance and comfortable to use. The blade is very sharp and seems to hold the edge well though we have only had it for two weeks, it will still slice a tomato into 1/16" slices.While not nearly as important, the knife itself is actually quite beautiful and well made.Finally, when our knife arrived, we noticed a small nick in the blade. When I emailed the company about, they shipped a replacement to me the same day. I was VERY pleased with both the knife and the customer service.

The 8-inch Professional Knife with wooden handle is an outstanding chefs knife. It is a sturdy full tang knife with excellent balance. There is a slight curve from tip to base that allows for ease of handling and rhythmic back end chopping. the blade itself is dense but flexible, and seems to hold an edge nicely. If presentation is your thing it is aesthetically pleasing comes in a fitted box and has a surprise chefs hat (which is oddly both ridiculous and adorable).

Nice blade, very well balanced and ergonomic. I work in a restaurant and always bring this chef knife with me. Plus it comes in a nice case.
