I purchased this to put in a gift basket for a friend that enjoys wine. She loved it and actually has it displayed in her home. Nice quality little book and she actually jot notes into it as well!

Gave as a gift, laughter at opening, but actually being used and some new ideas have been put in place after wine. Some more successful than others.

Great little book for the wine connoisseur

My missus is a massive fan of writing notes. She’s what you may call someone who is “organised”. She works with spreadsheets a lot, so her life is a series of nodes, flow charts and logic. She’s kinda like that female terminator, from “Rise of the machines”, she even has a built in flamethrower. Anyway, I got this book as a little side present for her birthday. The kids “bought” her other Amazon presents, which may have their respective reviews in due course. I say the kids “bought” her. I bought them. They sponge and suck the joy out of everything these days, just wanting biscuits and fizzy pop every ten minutes. They don’t get them, because obesity in young children is tragic. Anyway…. This book has changed her life. He drinks wine, and seems to enter a “fugue state” where she busily jots ideas, with trigonometric patterns and maths functions. Seemingly unlocking the fundamentals of the universe. It’s kind of exciting, because if it gets published, it’s probably gonna result in a massive windfall and we can retire early. Probably be able to afford all the demands of the children as well, so everyone is happy.Anyway, would be keen to see if anyone else observes this behaviour. If so, the book is really really worth it. It could be that my missus is some hidden savant, or she has some obscure capabilities, but I doubt this, because she can’t even change a plug. Either that, or she’s drawing up the plans for Skynet? Which ties in with earlier comments. Good luck everyone, keep up the resistance.

5 stars for the cover alone, it is just a basic paper notepad so not something you can keep. Decent for a secret santa but pricey for what it actually is.
