I have had many monitors in my many years as a gamer. This is the canine testicles for 27" IMHO!The contrast, definition, refresh rate, colour rendering ... is perfect, for me!And the price.. affordable to say the least.One thing to remember .. this monitor has speakers. So you do need to reset your sound settings after installation back to how they were, if using a wireless headset.

I've purchased two of these monitors, at different times and have been very pleased with them. They are 27", with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and are bright, sharp and clear. Despite them being purchased at different times, they both look identical and didn't need any adjustment to the default settings (brightness, contrast, colour balance, etc.), when mounted as a pair on dual monitor arms. There is a very thin bezel, but it's worth noting that there's also approximately a 1/4" band on the top and sides, which doesn't illuminate (not visible when turned off). When two are placed side by side, this equates to about a 5/8" gap. The curve is subtle, but works really well, making them a pleasure to use for prolonged periods. The PSU is separate to the monitor, but sits neatly in a cable tray behind the desk, if memory serves me correctly, the PSU measures around 3" square and around 1" deep. Very highly recommended!

I have no complaints about the image quality, it's quite good at this price however I wouldn't buy it for much more than 90.The major flaw is the monitor stand, if you even want to mount this monitor on a wall or a vertical stand I hope you enjoy pain. It's the worst stand design I've seen in my life, if you want to remove it completely which you will need for a lot of setups unless you want it tilting slightly up.So if you want to remove the stand you'll need to remove a screw in the center and pry the plastics open all around and remove the back of the monitor, you're almost guaranteed to damage the plastic where both sides meet to pry it open. Once it's opened you'll have to remove a couple of screws and the stand will finally come off, that's where you're likely to get lubricant all over your fingers, fun times.

This has been excellent as a gaming monitor and the performance has been brilliant, I thought I'd wait a while to do the review to see how it performed and it has proved to be really good value.The curve of the screen means it takes up a little more desk space but the immersing design during gameplay certainly makes up for that, it is designed to fit your field of vision during gameplay, so it gives a true immersive experience , it stops you turning your head from side to side more and gives an amazing gameplay experience.It is built with 5 watt speakers , they are good , especially close up when playing so the sound quality is OK, not fantastic or premium quality but sound bars and speakers can be added easily to solve that.The picture is crisp , sharp and colourful, HD screen and 75Hz refresh rate means it's also a smooth experience with fast games , driving and other games, no flicker on the screen.The build quality is really good too , the 1000R curve is a game changer compared to my older screen.Set up was straightforward, easy to connect my console up to it in a couple of minutes.It's not the most compact and sleek design but if you want a good value immersive gaming experience with excellent clear visuals and decent sound for the price, then this is a very good option, would recommend for gaming.
