Broken bottle
On opening the packet there was no leakage but when the bottle was opened there was a major leakage...half the bottle I lost. On inspection after emptying the bottle I noticed a hairline Crack in the bottle which was covered by the label. It was too late to return as I had thrown out the packages! I lost more than half the content of the bottle!!

Sweet and spicy.
I'm not certain I would have pegged this as an old fashioned mixer if tasting it blind. The sweetness are the cinnamon/spices are very forward. We've tried it in mocktails/cocktails. I prefer it with less used just to reduce the sweetness a bit--obviously your preferences may vary. Looking forward to using it for fall drinks!

Alright cocktail mix
My GF and I like making cocktails. Usually we make from scratch, but sometimes we try these mixes for when we are prioritizing speed. This one is alright. It isn't the best old fashioned, but we didn't expect it would be. It ends up being on the mild/sweet side, so you may have better luck with rye, or something strong.

Can make nice cocktails with this, but it's not the same "old fashioned" as I know
First off, one can definitely make tasty cocktails with this mix, although the amount of mix to add in for your personal taste may take some trial and error to discover. As directed, it makes the drink too sweet for my preference, but it's a good starting point. In Wisconsin, we tend to make/drink brandy old fashioned instead of whiskey old fashioned, which puts a different spin on tastes to begin with. In any case, this is a tasty mix worthy of experimentation and trial and error, perhaps over a game of cards with friends. Wouldn't recommend giving it as a gift until you have found a ratio that pleases you, so that you can coach your gift-receiver how to put it to use (or maybe until you make one that they like!) ... Overall, I'm glad to have had an opportunity to try this product and I can recommend it for others to try and experiment with.

Strong cloves and cinnamon flavor
Bablouie Old Fashioned Craft Cocktail Mixer has a strong cinnamon clove flavor and is very sweet. It would make a good non-alcoholic drink with just a bit of this mixer and cup of sparkling soda and lime. Just good when I'm feeling a need for some citrus and cinnamon soda drink.

Very sweet
My fiancé used this mixer as Old Fashions are his choice of drink. When mixed at the suggested ratio, he found it to be too sweet. Other than sweet, it was spicy (cinnamon/bitters) and had no chemical or otherwise unpleasant aftertaste. He prefers his drinks to be more spirit-forward, so probably would go with a 4:1 mix instead of 3:1.He thought this mixer is fine for people who don’t really like making their own Old Fashioneds. For example, it’d be fine to have on hand for a party, but not something he would keep on hand regularly as he already has the individual components to make this drink and they keep for a long time on the bar with no refrigeration needed.
