product feels like something I could have gotten from the dollar store. the case feels kind of cheap. The good part of this is the sponge is a good quality and they give you a good amount of paper to go with it.

I'm new to the world of miniature painting and read that this was on the list of myst have equipment. I decided to skip it. But the paints I had gotten were some pretty expensive hobby paint, and they were drying out very quickly. So I bought this and it does the trick of havng them last longer. Getting some extra brushes was a nice bonus too.

I've had a Masterson Sta-Wet for years, but I wanted to get a bigger one, and this one was half the price of the Masterson 16x12 and how different could a box with a sponge in it be? It doesn't compare! With the Masterson I've never had condensation and wetness, but with this one there is water dripping from the lid and everything is very wet and gross in there. I'm guessing it's because it's a different type of sponge? Its form factor is fine though - I kind of like having the lid attached so I could put my palette knife there. But overall, it's not worth the money saved. I'll be getting the Masterson which has now essentially costed me 150%... This is not an ad for Masterson lol...
