I really like this book. It's full of beautiful visuals and is so lovely to look at and digest. It has some great recommendations on places to go outside of London. Some of the places I have been lucky enough to visit already, and this book has given us some inspiration for some other ideas on cool places to go.It recommends not only the places, but where to eat, and cool little "not so well known" parts of these places, so you can do something unique, local and not too touristy.Overall, if you are looking for some daytrip inspiration outside of London, this is the book for you!

I bought this as a present for my daughter and her young family. They have already enjoyed one outing and are looking forward to going on another ( as soon as lockdown is lifted!)

So many beautiful places I haven't seen around London. Recommend to anyone who loves exploring new places without spending too much.

An excellent compendium of day-trips. It's well written and gives a variety of suggestions for places to visit which seem actually doable in one day - for some places it would be a long day, but still doable.
