Used 2 times and the threading already ripped, very disappointed about the purchase.

I was expecting real leather, but these are made with PU (polyurethane) leather. PU leather is pretty durable stuff, so hopefully these knee pads will last the test of time. Where I think these will work the best and last the longest is indoor jobs, like laying down flooring, installing, painting or cleaning baseboards, and other jobs or repairs where you need to be on your knees for any length of time. The reason I don’t think these would fare well outdoors is because the strap that wraps around your upper calf area comes all the way around to the front and actually becomes part of the padding that cushions the knee. The stitching that holds the PU leather to the foam is not recessed. Repeated kneeling onto and getting up from rough surfaces like rocks, concrete and asphalt, will wear the stitching down, causing the knee pads to come apart. If you’re going to use them on grass, or dirt that is relatively free from rocks and other rough or sharp objects, they should do fine.These are really comfortable. Probably the most comfortable knee pads I’ve ever worn. The padding is a full inch thick, about twice as thick as in my other knee pads. I have used these for metal detecting in parks, so I’m kneeling mostly in grass, sand and wood chips. The one strap design works. It works because the one strap is twice as wide as straps on other knee pads. I’ve worn them for six hours, kneeling on them no less than 200 times, and only had to tighten them up one times. The one strap design offers more mobility than my other knee pads, and they weigh less than my other knee pads (see attached photos). I did get the XXL size. One of the Biviwan knee pads weighed 8.5 ounces and the other hard shell knee pad with only .5” of foam padding weighed 10.25 ounces, a 20% increase in weight. For kneeling on rocks, concrete, asphalt I’ll use the hard shell knee pads, but for indoor jobs (and recreation) in the grass, sand and wood chips, I’ll definitely use the Biviwans.I hope you found this review helpful.Thank you.

These kneepads pad, the knees very well, and is made of a durable materials yet like any other kneepads it only has one Velcro strap it does require adjusting anytime you stand up.

Liked the comfortable fit. Wide straps keepthe pads from falling down and exposing knee joint. I own a pair that are made with hard plastic that slips on wood or tile floors.No problem with these leather made pads.Would made a nice gift.

They fit well and work well. I recommend if you do flooring.

These are really nice and great quality. I'm admittedly very frugal so I think the current price of about $60 may be a tad steep but they were a gift for my daddy and he thinks they're worth every penny. They couldn't have come at a better time for him to put them to a true test. We were needing to fix a water leak but I had planned to give these to him for Christmas and had them already wrapped. So I told him to open them early and he said there wasn't time for that. When I told them that his early Christmas was knee pads, he couldn't get the paper off quick enough. He really put them to the test for hours that day and has for the last month as well. He's 70 but has had to mechanic and do some storm repairs in the last month too, wearing them multiple times. My daddy gives them five stars for comfort and they're holding up well. He says they're the best Christmas present he's ever gotten and he's 6'4" for size reference. We highly recommend them!
