I was diagnosed years ago with a 'pinched' nerve in the 4th vertibrae of my neck due to rear end car accidents. Due to that, I've been suffering with severe pain in my neck and shoulders. Could never get a decent night sleep, so I've suffered with insomnia for years as well due to other medical issues. When I did sleep and wake in the morning or mid-afternoon (always got my hours of sleep, since I'm retired), the pain in my neck was so intense, that I would have to literally, message my neck and pinch the muscle to try to relax it. I decided to buy THIS pillow, instead of the 'My Pillow' just because of the SHAPE of the pillow alone. It looked like it would benefit my pain issue more effectively.Well, I bought the pillow. Finally, going to bed, immediately I felt the difference than the 'normal' shape pillows. I immediately FELT relief in my neck and shoulders. I'm a back and side sleeper. On my back, I felt the comfort in my head, neck and with my shoulders against the pillow to a GREAT degree. It felt like my head and neck comfortably supported with feeling no strain.I decided to turn on my right side, which I normally sleep on and the way the pillow is shaped, it felt like my face and neck was 'CRADLED' in 'softness and just the right support'. My head and neck felt so good that I had to lay there and literally think: WOW! my neck was actually feeling like it was 'aligned' with the rest of my body. It felt so good!!!! I didn't have to adjust my head, neck or body to start feeling comfortable. The pillow seemed to be doing it automatically. For the 1st time in a long time, I had a 'painless' comfortable sleep.When I woke the next morning to go to the bathroom, I realized that I had NO PAIN in my neck. Usually, every morning, I wake with a 'crook' on one side of my neck due to the position my neck was in while sleeping. This morning I had no crook and was able to turn my neck in every direction, up and down with no pain.I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to going to sleep tonight and hopefully, every night now knowing how comfortable this pillow makes me feel and able to get, for once, in a very long time, a decent, painless night rest.ANYONE who READ this, please note that all the above information was given in true honesty after experiencing just one night with this pillow. I've got arthritis in my neck and shoulders. Physical therapy taught me good posture and exercise. OTC medications help dull the pain. A theracane helps work out stiff spots. But I always woke up hurting. You can't maintain a decent posture when you're asleep if a pillow is pushing your head away from your body.Feeling desperate I started looking at contour pillows. I read multiple reviews here and elsewhere on them and of course I'm sure you saw the same things in those reviews. "Doesn't hold shape for long", "smells funny", "no support", "foam falling apart". It left me frustrated. Then I came across a review for another Coisum pillow that was very positive and genuine. So I checked out their line. I saw the one star reviews and many of them had been replied to by the company wanting to get to the bottom of the problem and saying they'll take responsibility. That made me feel more comfortable about dropping roughly $50 on a friggin pillow.I use the lower side to sleep on my back. The shape of the pillow holds my shoulders in place. My head and neck feel cradled. If I'm going sleep on my side I prefer the higher side of the pillow as it keeps my head at a better angle for side sleeping than the lower side. The pillowcase is less prone to hold sweat than a normal pillowcase. It's never felt completely soaked in the weeks I've been using and that's always been a problem for me with pillows.Oh yeah best of all, I don't wake up with neck and shoulder pain anymore. I really feel like this was the missing piece of my pain relief puzzle. Again, all the stretching and exercise, rubbing and tylenol mean nothing if your neck is wrenched at night. The sellers seems to stand by their product. It arrived as a $50 pillow should, in a branded bag meant for transporting the pillow with instructions included, inside a large box. There were no weird smells and for me there was no break in period.Of course if this loses its shape and support quickly, I will update this review. I've been using it about 3 weeks as of now.

I got this pillow only yesterday but I can already say (after one night!) that it is an excellent product - well, at least for me. I was a bit worried about the adjustment period - I used to have different neck and shoulders pillows and had to give up as I never got used to them - I just felt they were doing more harm than good to me and felt too anxious to give it more time than a couple of weeks. But this one totally surprised me - I slept so well, it's unbelievable. I really struggle with my neck pain at nights and recently couldn't sleep at all, plus the pain would make my mornings really hard so this is such a nice surprise. I used the lower side (I'm a side sleeper) and it just felt so, so comfortable and natural, as if it was tailor-made for me. Amazing.

I have suffered with chronic neck pain for more than 10 yrs. I've tried every kind of pillow you can imagine that is out there on the market. It has been a battle to say the least. This was very important to me. Secondly, as soon as I touched the pillow, I was in heaven. It felt SO soft and support was the perfect amount of cushion. I didn't have any expectation to fix or cure my neck pain. I just had a open mind about it and thought I will see in the morning. Next day, I woke up. No joke. I had no pain! I was blown away. When I say I suffered with chronic neck pain--my condition in my cervical area is debilitating.I couldn't believe it and started being skeptical and thought I'll see how it goes the second day.
