“Nuvilarly?”
“Nuvilarly?” Gotta plead ignorance here, and maybe a more savvy reader can enlighten me: what the heck is “nuvilarly?” Jargon? Foreign language? Did the author stylistically turn Nuvila into an adverb? FWIW, even Google hasn’t a clue. And that sentence... literally the second sentence of the first paragraph of the introduction. I read and re-read it, and I still have no idea what the “right” flow is. It looks like maybe a couple of sentences or clauses got awkwardly fused by a mere missing punctuation mark, but who knows? Maybe the author was just trying too hard to sound erudite. In any case, it made no sense and was almost audibly klunky, so I finally just skipped it and moved on. I’m confident the rest of the book will be fine, but I’m keeping my aspirin handy.

Great read
As a long time fan of the Seattle scene in the 80s and 90s, I was ecstatic when the first Foo cd dropped. This book is a great read and goes into all the areas of Grohl's life and band while staying out of the private side that he treasures. I highly recommend this book if you are a fan or Grohl or rock-n-roll in general.
