I read a large number of reviews before ordering this jacket, most of which recommended sizing up. I actually followed that recommendation and sized up for my 4.5 year old but ended up giving this jacket to my 6.5 year old. Should you size up? I guess it depends on your kid. My son is 6 (he will be 7 in May), 52” tall, 54 pounds and the small fits him perfectly. I mean perfectly. He might not be able to wear it next winter but for $15, I’m ok with that. If your kid is husky, or you buy clothes your kids will grow into, you will want to size up. Me, I figure he will lose this jacket or it will meet some horrible end (something will get spilled on it that I can’t get out, etc) before next winter, so I’m not worried about him being able to grow into it. The jacket itself is well constructed, thick, and very warm. It reminds me of a thick Columbia fleece jacket I had in the past.

I bought this in large for my son who usually wears a Large, he is 5'1" and 110 lbs, so he is a sturdy kid, but Large is usually fine for him. Size UP. This is skin tight on him. It seems like a nice fleece but is cut very slim all over.

I bought this jacket for my 9 year old son and it fit him perfectly. He is about 4ft 5in tall and weights around 90 pounds. For reference purposes, he fits on XL tops from The Children's Place.I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for a warm, soft and durable jacket.

Got it yesterday after a mess up with delivery (still trying to figure out if it was Amazon or USPS) and tried it on. We got size 4/5 for my 4 year old who is kind of on the tall side. It fit him almost perfectly with the bottom going down a bit below the waist. Which is fine as its room to grow. We'll see how much it lasts after a few washes but looks like the material is pretty sturdy. Will update with any new information. Kind of a musty smell when we opened the package but it went away. If this works out, we'll start getting this brand more often as the price is decent

I bought this for my 7 year old son who is about 46-ish inches tall and about 50lbs. He wears size 6/7 right now and the size small fits him perfectly. It's not going to fit him next year, but it is snug without being too tight, but I don't think he could wear a sweater under it. It's a lighter weight, not like the heavier Columbia fleece jackets we've had, but it would be great under a puffer or other jacket for extra warmth if needed, or great for spring weather (we live in the South). The green is a nice color, the fleece is soft, and my son likes the jacket. It looks like quality fabric and construction. I will definitely be looking more at the Amazon Basics brand clothing.

I have to say I love these jackets, however the reason I gave it only 2 stars is that I ordered two of the same size but I received 2 very different items in size. Both red and blue jackets are 4T (see pics), the label says it as well. But as you can see the blue one is much bigger than the red one. The problem now is that I do not know which one is the true 4T, and which one is a mistake 🤷.

These are nice and light but warm! They will be perfect for Florida winters and great under big jackets when we travel to colder spots! We got 3 different colors for our kids! XXL for our taller 12yo girl and our 14yo boy - they are 5’1” and 5’3”! And then an XL for our littler 12yo! 4 Stars only because I have no idea how long they’ll last at seams or zippers because it’s still 90 degrees 😜

Nice jacket but runs small! My kids are big for their age so I ordered up a size and it was still too small! My son put it on and I could hardly zip it up (size L) and he is 6! He is a big 6 year old but I was surprised with how narrow they were. No room for anything bulky underneath at all. We live in FL so overall it was a good weight and nice fleece but definitely runs small.

I am 5'0" and a UK size 6, the size XL was the perfect fit for me. Nice fleece and much cheaper to buy than an adult fleece.

My little girl only wore it twice and after I washed it the first time the stitching on the sleeve came undone and there is now a hole where the edging Of the sleeve has come away completely! Terrible quality really disappointed

I was worried it might be too thin for my son to wear for outdoor PE. However it is as good as his school fleece (with logo).

Bit on larger size but love the colour, print and quality.
