Grunwerg Windsor Fish Knives FIKWSR, 18/10 Stainless Steel, Set of 12, Silver

I bought these at an end of line sale, an hour after my parents said they were short of teaspoons. Really good quality, they feel like they are expensive and look very polished.

no frills packaging, each knife wrapped in tissue and packed together in a box, not a display box, but that was fine for us. just under 21cm long, 10.5cm blade, they are smaller than our usual modern SS knives, and about the same as our old fashioned Sheffield plastic handled knives, they are fine for everyday use. Small serrations on the blade, safe rounded tip, ok for spreading jam, but not very flexible for that purpose. Good value, although i'm not sure whether there is really any Sheffield connection.

This set of twelve Grunwerg Windsor Butter Knives is exactly what I wanted. The polished stainless steel keeps its high gloss in the dishwasher. Small and slim, they are the perfect size for use with afternoon tea plates and scones, and being a delicate fit in the hand allows one to be elegant when applying butter, jam and cream to freshly baked warm scones.

Great value for a great looking product. Much better than other budget priced versions. These were all finished to a high quality and smooth finish.

I bought a dozen of these Grunweg teaspoons to replace missing spoons in my house. The spoons arrived wrapped in tissue paper in a small unbranded box. From the box there is no indication as to where they are manufactured. The spoons are very lightweight. Disappointingly so. The Grunweg 18/10 label seems to be lazer etched on part of the back of the spoon rather than being embossed on the underside of the handle. The overall impression is of a cheap product. They are very shiny though. These spoons are adequate but certainly not a premium product.

I was disappointed by the undersize of these Sporks. And the weight of these versions are light and feel cheap. I will look for the prior brand I purchased which was larger and heavier. These will go in garage sale unfortunately
