Q: How long is the neon expected to last (assume on all the time)? Bought similar and light burned out pretty quick.

The only neon is the green ring the clock face is JUST paper.. If run intermitaly like 8 hours a day the neon will last about 25,000 hours.. But if run constantly it overheats the transformwe and you get about 22 months

Q: Just got the neon clock just the rim lights up is that the way it suppose to be.

Yes We have been at this 29 year and try and picture it and describe it very accurately. The first line says it is a single ring of green neon .. There is no physical way to bend real neon into tiny tubes.. The clock face is a epicure of 1 of my other very big signs 24"x24"

Q: I have a simalar clock, but need a new ac adapter, does your company sell them seperately? Or can you tell me which adapter i can use?

I do not sell them .. Depending on the manufacturer. they take a 9v 300ma or a 12v 500ma AC adapter
