SEIKOProspex SFK001 Sea Sumo Solar GMT Blue

I have a very small wrist and was worried that this watch may be too big. After removing a couple links and putting it on it looks great. It's a subtle blue that shines in light. Love the solar charging and it is keeping time well (1 to 2 seconds gained give or take over a month) I expect it to last many many years.

Looks great, well made and functional. The picture on Amazon does not show the true color of the bezel, it is a much paler blue. Setting the time and date is a little tricky. It is very different from my other GMT watch and took some tinkering to figure out. The watch did not come with an instruction booklet. I had to download the PDF. Not a big deal to me. My biggest concern was the bracelet. I have a large wrist and I always have to buy aftermarket watch straps when I buy a watch. This Seiko fit my 8 1/2 inch wrist out of the box.

This Seiko is now one of my favorites. Hasn’t dropped a second in 2 weeks so far. The lumes are good and the hands are easy to read. The 45mm case fits great and the bracelet is comfortable. All in all, a great value for a GMT.

It looks great on my wrist, little on the hefty side for the weight but i was expecting that being that it's referred to as a sumo. Nice shades of blue, and love the pop off orange on the GMT hand. So far keeps accurate time and it's exactly as advertised.

I have owned SEIKO watch’s for over 40 years, everyone has been a great watch. I work in maintenance and I am very rough on my watch. Not a single watch broke, I scratched the dial faces so bad I could not read them, broke a band working on a boat yanking my arm outta a tight spot and lost it in the water. This new Sfk001 watch looks to be as ruggedly build as all the rest of my Seiko’s. I like the new features of the GMT and the offset locking crown. Best feature is it looks great on my wrist…

It's a nice watch but the stick photo that most sellers use do not show 2 things. One is that the bezel is a lot more gray than blue. Two models I've seen did not look at all like the bezel in the photo. The other one is that the stock photo doesn't really show that the dial is speckled with raised blue indentations. It is not smooth as shown.
