Exactly what I was looking for!I must’ve went through five hose nozzles before finding the one that works; this one!What I was looking for in a simple hose nozzle is one that doesn’t leak (particularly when twisted off/closed), twisting should be relatively “malleable” (or easy), and it should allow enough spray/force to reach very far and/or be strong enough & able to push debris on concrete. And, after finding that many other nozzles can do one or two of these prerequisites, only THIS nozzle can do all three!Other things that I love about this nozzle is that there are only 2 main parts in its construction (and a simple plastic O-ring [which I am aware that that is the item that usually doesn’t last and breaks in most garden hose nozzles]). It makes perfect, logical sense that having the least amount of (moving) parts would help its integrity and longevity; less parts to break and fail. It is also VERY nice that it doesn’t have any other rubber parts/material; supposedly for grip, but I believe the rubber parts is what caused my original nozzle (the one that this nozzle replaces) to stop working properly. Also, this is a hefty hose; which is a positive thing that speaks to its quality and “mettle” (pun intended; “metal”). Lastly, many of the nozzle’s here on Amazon that have great reviews tend to be on the smaller side – hardly longer than the width of my knuckles – whereas this one is as big as my original; which may speak to the reason why the others were not able to push water strong enough…The primary (and most obvious) downside/con is its very steep expensive price. It is nearly 4x more expensive than most regular nozzles.The way I see it, this nozzle is the perfect garden hose nozzle! It does all the things I want in a nozzle, looks and feels great, and there’s nothing more I could ask of it! Yes, it may be considerably more expensive than the other choices on Amazon, but it’s best to look at it as a really good investment; I imagine this nozzle will last many, many years (especially considering it has minimum count of moving parts) – versus paying less at present, but constantly (I imagine yearly) over the same amount of years this nozzle will last! Even considering the price, I don’t think that there’ll be any regrets in purchasing this because it does everything I want and doesn’t have any flaws!

Wow, didn't think that I'd wax too poetic over a hose nozzle, but this is a really nice product. First, it's made in the good old USA; that's important to me. It's heavy (said in a good way - by no means is it too heavy to hold and water comfortably), solid brass. There are 2 O rings inside it on the center shaft. Though it turned easily when I received it, I saw that another user had a good idea to put a little plumbers silicone grease on it. I did so and it's as smooth as silk turning on and off. I can do so very easily with one hand on it. When I turn it off, it turns OFF - no dribbles, leaks as so many cheap ones do. What I really like about it is the water pattern. I've bought (many, unfortunately) cheaper ones from "big box" stores, and those throw an uneven pattern of water when you're not shooting a narrow stream out of it. On this, it's a pretty uniform cone of water from the widest to the narrowest, just as it becomes a single stream. You can adjust it from a relatively slow dribble/drizzle through a wide cone, narrowing it down to a single, solid stream with pretty good distance and force. I purchased this with my own, hard-earned money; I did not get it for free or reduced price for an "unbiased" review. These are my own observations on something for which I paid full retail price. I'm happy with that purchase.Update 7/4/2022 - Five years now since I wrote my initial review (man, where does the time GO?). This guy is still going STRONG. Incredible investment. Costs more up front, but here it is 5 years later with that beautiful brass patina but works like it was just out of the box!

I've purchased lesser versions on these in the past, which have the nozzle swedged to the threaded end. They invariably will leak. NOT THESE! The nozzle and base are one piece! Nice product and the additional little nozzle was a nice bonus (and nicely made as well). Not the cheapest you will buy, but I can't see how this can be improved upon.

Excited to receive my first garden hose nozzles and used them to flush out my home gutters and undercarriage of my truck. Will do a nice job on my steps and driveway when needed for sure. I also used the narrow nozzle to blow off the moss adhered to my asphalt shingles. This year has been tough with the very high humidity and heat in New England. Making my roof look like it was in the Savannah area in Georgia. Worked as expected. Well worth the money and durable brass construction. Masonry chimney is next. Thanks for asking.

After receiving a faulty product, the seller immediately urged me to return the nozzle for a replacement. Boy am I glad I did!The Nysist Brass Hose Nozzle is a finely made, hefty piece of brass. The adjustment on the nozzle is smooth, enabbing one handed operation. The textured surfaces are grippy but not overly sharp for easy adjustment with wet or dirty hands. The nozzle spray can be adjusted from off to a broad spray for plants (think umbrella shaped mist/shower) then as you twist, the stream gets narrower and more powerful with a high rate of flow and powerful stream!I also have a Chinese made nozzle that has the same basic design but nowhere near the level of quality. You can even tell that this nozzle was milled out a solid chunk of brass, where as the cheap nozzle was pressure fitted together out of pieces, which means over time it's more likely to break.This nozzle will last you decades or maybe even a lifetime if you oil the threads at the beginning of each year and change the rubber seals every few years.What a well made product! Glad I gave them a second chance!I wish I had a need for more of these!

I’ve already put this to work ! It has excellent pressure. Very durable .One drawback : The box was damaged & “ somebody “ did a poor job trying to repair it before it was shipped tooo me.
