This insulated cup looks very good and feels robust in the hand.At 400ml it’s slightly on the smaller side for me personally as I tend to drink bucket sized cups of coffee, but it’s a good general size for carrying around.The body of the cup is made from stainless steel, and the lid from BPA free material (feels like toughened plastic) and has a rubber seal to prevent leaks. There’s a silicone grip around the top which makes it easy to hold and stop your fingers from burning, as well as a silicone base so it won’t slide once placed down on a surface.It also has a removable carry handle in case you want to hang it on your backpack once empty or just to carry it.It kept my freshly made coffee hot for a couple of hours, reducing in warmth until it was cold by around the 5-hour mark, so pretty good going really.It’s a well-made cup, my only gripe is it’s not dishwasher proof.

5 stars for insulation, 3 stars for the drinking experience. 4 hours after filling, this was still at a very good temperature. It also lived up to claims of being leak proof.Actually drinking from it was less impressive.The hole to drink from is set back from the lip where most of these cups have it, making it less comfortable. Also the vent hole to allow air in as you drink is very small, meaning your drink comes out very slowly, particularly when it's fairly full with your drink.The flip cap, because the drinking hole is set low in the lip, the flip cap has a protruding silicone seal, so as you drink you have the choice of this hitting your nose or tipping your head back that bit further, not perfect if you're using this while driving.If they repositioned the spout to being on the lip, rather than just behind it, I'd go the full 5 stars.

I love this travel mug so much that I am using it at home for my coffee.The size is 400ml (a regular cup is 250 ml) and is making a lovely big cup of tea, or coffee, especially when I am working at the desk and do not want my drink to go cold.This mug is very comfortable to hold and does not slide in my hand thanks to the grip. I love the colour as well. It is a lovely bright and vivid orange which lightens up my mood. So much more fun than a boring black travel mug.The lid is leakproof and drinking out of it is easy.You can see and feel the quality of the materials that is mug is made, the anti-slip grip, a strap to carry it with or to attach to a backpack, a lovely bright orange colour, and the fact that the drink stays hot inside for up to 4 hours. I love that I can have this mug all year long, with a cold drink staying cold for up to 8 hours in the summer, and hot drinks staying warm in the winter.It also fits in the door of my car making it very portable for me.It is not dishwasher safe, but I am always washing my mugs by hand so this is not a problem.

Keeps my morning tea nice and hot and my afternoon chilled water nice and cold.both last around an hour which in my eyes is really good.Once the lid is sealed it doesn't leak, even after i knocked it over, good result.

I have another insulated bottle from FJbottle and the quality doesn't dip at all when compared to that one. I'd even go as far as to say the sealing is actually a tad better due to the rubber bung that sits where the drinking hole is. The lid sticks quite well hinge wise when flipped over. I haven't had it hit me in the face yet but we'll see have that fares with time.Drink stays hot, no spillages, quality materials and manufacturing + a handy little strap if you're going out hiking or on a day out and don't want to risk it leaking in your bag. Just attach it to the outside via a carabiner clip!Might seem on the expensive side if you're just looking for a secure travel mug for hot or cold drinks. But I would happily recommend products from FJbottle! The quality justifies the price in my opinion. £16.99? I paid more for a insulated fast food stay tall cup with a metal straw. And as much as I love that and use it every day. This product is on par, if not better than that is! At least this has a screw top not a rubber bung suction based one!
