Taste is yucky bought to flavor mornings coffee. No can do.

It’s clumping for me I can mix it or use a hand held frother and I can’t get the lumps out is why I took a star off but it does taste great and it comes in a sealed bag that I dumped into the cardboard container it came with I need to try to bake with it and see how it goes but all in all it a great product with great flavor

This tastes nothing like caramel. It comes in a form of powder and you can just need to mix it with water to make caramel. The color is very dark and you can use less water if you want a thicker consistency; however, it tastes nothing like caramel. It just tastes burn and bitter, there is no sweetness. I meant to use this for making flan so I can save myself the trouble of having to make caramel but there is no way this powder can replace the flavor and texture of real caramel.

I really like the flavor of this caramel extract powder. It certainly tastes of caramel, but without being cloyingly sweet. It has a mild sweetness to it that I find pleasing, and that I can increase with added sweetener if I choose. The powder came in a cardboard tin and vacuum-packed in a sealed bag with a ziplock top for storage. I saw that another reviewer complained that it was clumped, but that was not my experience with what I received. I will be using this as a flavor enhancer in coffee as well as in baked goods. A good choice for adding caramel flavor to your creations.
