Very tight fit but large screwdriver against motor spindle did the job, now tumbling again, hope it lasts as long as the previous one, 10 years.

As a 5ft 4inch woman, not particularly strong, I gave up the first evening attempting to the fit the drum belt. Returning to it the following morning with a hair dryer, I blasted the belt whilst spinning the drum; occasionally stopping to rest my feet on the drum whilst stretching the belt. After a few minutes of doing this I took the small leaver from my socket set and pretty easily managed to get it onto the spindle! I Couldn't believe how easy it was to fit just using the hairdryer....patience to warm and stretch the belt is key, otherwise you will spend 3hrs swaeting and panting like an idiot

I used this on my INDESIT tumble dryer. The part number on it was the same as the one that had broken. Having watched a video on Youtube, I decided the job was fairly easy to do. The only difficulty was stretching the belt over the drum and pully.... it took around 30 minutes slowly stretching the belt, and I will admit I did think I would snap it. However, eventually it fitted over the motor pully and when switched on worked. I'm happy with the product - but be prepared to put some effort in slowly stretching it. It certainly saved buying a new machine.

Great quality belt , the last one I purchased from eBay was far too tight and was an absolute mare to fit despite soaking in boiling water for 5 mins, and it snapped again after a couple of weeks, reckon it was far to tight. This one after soaking in boiling water, slipped on with the aid of a large screwdriver no probs. Just remove the back and the left side panel and loosen the right side panel no need to remove that one. To remove the left side panel there is a couple of screws hidden where the front bottom plastic panel is the one below the front door.

Quick delivery. Item arrived in good order, good quality. Watched a YouTube tutorial prior to fitting the belt which seems straight forward...until it comes to stretching the belt. As a lady who is good at DIY I struggled for 5 hours! Once on it did the job, very happy. Another reviewer suggested using a hair dryer and a socket to fit on to the pulley to stretch the belt - I wish I'd read this before hours of trying and failing. Fit - great once on Performance - will see how it holds up. Value for money - excellent.

Love the fact that I could mend my tumble dryer myself and I did need a little help getting it on, but works perfectly and saved me paying somebody else silly amount of money to mend myself.
