Best thin case you can get, with caveats
EDIT: After a year of daily light duty, the thin front bezel (which I complained about in the initial review) snapped in the same place everypne else did. I still stand by the initial review, but a phone case should really last more than a year for this price. Worth taking a star off.I've tried a ton of cheap thin cases. TUDIA, Encased, Rome Tech, and plenty of drop-shipped ones. I'm happy to say I've finally found a good one. Though it still isn't perfect. This one is the first to have actual non-slip properties to it, while also not getting stuck in the pocket, despite having a smooth finish. It's all in the material, and it's clear attention was paid to that here. Actually, I really appreciate the simple, flat design of the case, where almost every other case features some kind of loud branding, distracting pattern, or "wow amazing textured sides for extra grip" nonsense that doesn't actually help with grip.As for the sizing, the fit is decent, but it was clearly designed to use the adhesive to keep it in place; it fits much better when the adhesive is properly applied and force is used to thoroughly adhere the edges. Spigen includes extra adhesive if you took it off and want to replace it. The adhesive is useful since the case lacks strong retention around the inside edges in order to keep it flat, to allow the phone to close properly with the case on, unlike many other cheap cases. Though a perfect drop on the edge will still hit the mechanism, the hinge gets a suitable amount of protection too; still better than or similar to most of the competition. Unlike them however, the raised edge on the hinge is only at the top and bottom, with the outer edge of the hinge left more open, giving a very smooth feel to the fingers and allowing better whole-hand grip. The power and volume button detents are the widest I've seen on any case and allow for excellent accessibility to the buttons and fingerprint reader. All of the cutouts are done with precision, and there are no visible injection marks from the outside; however, mold seams are clearly visible, though they don't seem to compromise the integrity of the mold at all. Now, I've been using the case for a while now and there are some issues:- The adhesive on the right-hand side of the front half is rather weak, and frequently lifts off from that side of the phone. I imagine I will have to replace it soon, as no amount of pressure will keep it in place for long. This makes it awkward to unfold the phone, as wrenching on this edge can make it separate.- The front half left-hand edge is not sized particularly well, where the top and bottom lips that curl around the phone are a bit too small so that they don't cover the edges completely. Thankfully the adhesive here cured well and is plenty strong, so there seems no risk of it coming apart. And yes, I applied the adhesive properly—the deformation was visible before I did so, and while the strength of the adhesive helped, it was not able to fully correct it.As an aside: If you like this case and desperately want a belt holster like me, get the Rome Tech case with belt holster, and discard the case; this case slides into the holster like it was made for it. It isn't super great quality-wise but it's the best you're going to find that is specifically made for the 2023 Fold and also works with this case. I'd love for more options though, so hopefully someone can prove me wrong on that front.

Saved my phone!
I just got in a bike crash and landed on my pocket with my phone in it, screen facing out. It survived without a scratch!I've been using this model of Spigen case for years on other phones which I have dropped countless times and never had a problem. Despite this being a "thin" case it's always given me plenty of protection. I also much prefer the surface finish to the factory case from Google which is top grippy and keeps pulling my pocket inside out.

Quality has dropped
The thin bezel on the left of the front screen split. I've had the case since late Sept 2023. Thats way too fast to have to replace such a pricey case. I have trusted Spigen for a long time with my phone needs, but looks like it might be time to move on.

Decent protection
I like this case overall (thin and light, adds grip) but do you like gesture navigation on the front display? The lip on the front part of the case is a bit too high, and swiping from the edges of the front display isn't as natural-feeling as it should be; device protection at the price of ease of use? The case edge around the camera could be a bit higher also for keeping the lens glass safe. Still, I am planning to use this case for a bit.

Not Speigens fault per say...but...
I've bought a speigen case for my pixel 5 a while back and was impressed enough with it's quality to go with one for the Fold. After a couple of months the thin edge along the Folds spine cracked in one spot due to the thinnest part of the whole case never really sticking to the phone with its included sticky tabs. After a couple more months a another crack appeared in the same thing part of the case from daily usage of my thumb scrolls when I wanted to exit an app or even when I went into my pocket to reach for my phone. The cracks then made the front half of the case constantly fall off. I can see that with the pixel fold the thinnest part to protect would be along the spine so a slim style case end up cracking or bowing when in use so if you want to avoid that then maybe get a case that has the spine protector and deal with a bulky case. Ive purchased the OtterBox slim case now and is currently on my phone since I got tired of speigens case constantly falling off. OtterBox case feels slightly thicker and better built so I'm hoping it lasts longer in terms of standing up to thumb scrolls and simply grabbing at my phone but if a slim design case still doesn't work out with the OtterBox then I'll go with a thicker case that covers the whole phone, spine and all.

Excellent case with one minor glitch
An excellent case - well made, fits the phone well and looks good. The one minor glitch is the ridge in the opening for the power button/fingerprint reader. It moves my finger slightly from the position used when I scanned the fingerprint initially. The reader can still read my fingerprint but occasionally I may need to try twice. I know re-scanning the fingerprint would solve this and will do so. All in all a very minor glitch to an excellent case.

Fits perfect without feeling bulky
I am thrilled with how well the case fits on the Google Pixel Fold. It is incredibly slim, and once it's on, you won't even realize it's there. However, if you tend to frequently drop your phone, this may not be the suitable case for you. The exposed folding side is vulnerable to damage if the device is dropped.
