Cuprinol5092617 2.5L anti slip Decking Stain Boston Teak

I have used this make and type of decking paint for the last 10 years approx. The colour is rich and builds with the number of coats. I put a minimum of three coats on as I like a rich colour and it hides whee I didn't put it on evenly.The non slip properties are excellent and it feels like it has a sandpaper type finish. It resists algae and bird poop hoses off.Prices vary hugely so it's worth looking for it throughout the year and keeping it in your shed until you need it. I have had some in my shed for at least five years and it goes on like new. I repaint my deck every two years to ensure its in good condition and looks like new. I jet wash it and some paint may come off in high trafficked areas but mostly it sticks like glue. I then put another two coats on. Coverage is good. I always open the three cans I'm using and mix them so I know the colour is going to be exactly the same even if the batches are different.Don't spill it on your lawn as it will kill it. I know from experience!

Impressed with this stain ,goes on nice and easy and after 3 coats it was a lovely colour and you can feel the anti slip properties when you slide your hand across it. Only time will tell if it's durable and long lasting but I'm impressed so far.

Easy to apply with vivid colour. Needs to be reapplied annually. Just be careful that you do it on a guaranteed dry day as one year I had the misfortune of applying and then the heavens opened. If the stain has not dried properly, then it will lead to poor results. However, the next year I was lucky enough to do it during a dry spell and the results were far more impressive.

Product is a good one,and despite the times we live in it was delivered promptly. The only criticism is the price. Whilst food shopping at a local supermarket I did see the same product for £10 less. However I am not grumbling and pleased

My decking was in a dreadful state and overdue painting for a couple of years. A good hose down and scrub beforehand and three coats of paint have sorted it. Looks great and now I just need to keep it that way.

Used it for years and works well - on wood which is 15 years old and is walked on. JDS delivered promptly and very well packed ; Price was nearly 40% cheaper than B & Q -- what's not to like

Was pleased to be able to purchase a decking stain I had used before, despite the constraints of lockdown. It was great to have such a quick delivery, and find the contents had been packed so well.

I have been using this paint for a few years now and find it extremely durable and it retains its non slip capabilities throughout its life. Very pleased and can recommend
