Works wonders on high maintenance cast iron!
When I'm trying to get meals prepared for my family, I don't have the patience for cookware that has a long list of care instructions. My cast iron skillet just sits in my cabinet because i'm terrified of ruining my pan by accidentally thinking about soap while washing it. This little piece of chain mail works wonders. I decided to pull out my pan for lunch and of course made a mess of it. but after letting the pan cool down and rubbing the chain mail on it, it's clean and ready for dinner! I'm even going to buy another and send it to my sweet mother-in-law because I know she got a new cast iron skillet for christmas. Thank you!
