Review: Brilliant running autobiography - highly recommended - Amazing book - a lot of the story was well-known to me as a keen athletics fan, but there is so much of the real Jo Pavey to get to know. This is so inspiring to read - the same struggles translate to us all in some way, and also lots of useful detail about what works and what doesn't. It is much better-written than many auto-biographies too. I bought another one for a friend who has loved the book as well. Thank you so much Jo, for the book, and for being an inspiration to other mums that run - albeit slower! Review: Inspirational! - Inspirational! Parts of this book brought me to tears, especially Jo's naked love for her family. Parts of it made me laugh out loud, especially her honest relaxed chaos and juggling approach. Mostly, I am just filled with admiration for this woman and 'Gav'. What a unit! Loved this book and would recommend it to anyone, runner or not.

Great read
Loved reading this book. Fitting in what you love doing in life is possible. Would have liked a bit more insight into funding and pressures that are undoubtedly faces by athletes and coaches in elite sport.

Interesting, heartfelt & inspiring
An enjoyable insight into Jo’s life and how the simple joy of running as a child has continued throughout her life. Very interesting to hear how she runs or cross trains when injured. An inspiration.

Excellent read, regarding the life story of a remarkable International runner.
Purchased two copies of this excellent book for my daughter and her running friend. I, myself, have read and enjoyed the book about Jo Pavey. There is no doubt Rachel and Pauline will find this book a great inspiration for their future charity/fun runs around South Wales.

I bought the book for my husband for Christmas and when he had finished he said he thought I would enjoy it to
Really interesting book about someone who I have watched in big athletics meetings over the last 15 years but not known anything about really. I bought the book for my husband for Christmas and when he had finished he said he thought I would enjoy it to. Nice easy read, good mixture about sport and home life. She is an inspiration to all runners never to give up.

Inspirational!!
As a Mum of small kids who is a runner this book was fantastic! A great read for any runner though, she doesn’t go into too much detail about the pregnancy and baby bit for those put off by all of that!

As a runner I really enjoyed this book. Especially the race descriptions. Jo. Pavey is still running well. Final chapter yet to be written.

Shows us a very gutsy and committed runner. It is incredible how she kept motovated after so many years lost through injuries. I would have liked more details about her training. Still going ztrong at 42, she is a real motivator.
