Giannetti Artisans Handmade Plain Taralli Crackers - Imported from Puglia - 1, 2 & 3 Packs (1)

I Normally do not write Amazon reviews, especially for a $14 bag of crackers. However, after visiting Pulgia a few years ago I fell in love with two things: Burrata and this type of cracker. Since Returning home I have had little luck finding a cracker sold in the US that adequately matches the flavor and texture of those served in Italy. However, Giannetti crackers fill the Culinary void that has been ever present since returning from Italy! Perhaps it’s the fact that they use yeast or a touch of white wine, or that they are handmade that give them superior texture and flavor. You can see in the photo that they are larger and more textured than competitors I have purchased. They are a little more expensive, but I think that it’s worth it for the taste of Italy.

We discovered taralli on a trip to Italy last fall. Their unique feature is the texture, which is difficult to describe. Suffice it to say they are great with wine or cocktails. After returning from our trip, I looked for them online and found these. They are expensive but the real deal. I have since purchased several brands from NYC area markets, all much less expensive. All meh. If you love taralli, these are the ones to get.

Tasty, but very, very dry. I tossed the bags I bought after having several coughing fits while trying to swallow.

After visiting Italy I wanted to find the tasty Taralli crackers I had there. So glad I found these here which are better than the ones we had in Italy. Very addictive and fresh! I've also had contact with the owner who is the best!

A bit pricey but very good. I’ve ordered it several times and it’s always been excellent. After trying other similar products I’ve found this to be far superior.

Second purchase- this bag is overcooked- taste awful. Should have returned them.

Absolutely delicious and super-fresh. My husband and I both love these! Will be trying other products from Gianetti Artisans (plus I love the idea of supporting small, authentic producers).

If you know what Taralli's are and enjoy them, then you will enjoy these. They come packaged like crystal and the taste and texture are wonderful. I ought to know, both my Grandmother and Mother used to make them and these are as good as the homemade ones I used to eat.
