This board is so much fun and good value I use mine everyday to get to work and Ninestep honoured the warranty and replaced my battery which improved my range from 5 to 10 miles in the real world conditions. and sent me replacement belts after mine broke. I'd recommend this board to anybody without the funds to spend double or more or the knowledge to build there own. because for the performance at this price I doubt a diy board could match it

I have been riding this unit for about a month. Here are my pros and cons.Pros:I am 165 lbs and the board rides great.The controller and the components work very well together.Cons:The battery life is about half the 30 km distance if you are not on flat trails. It will climb steep hills great but it really drains the battery. I think this is an issue with all electric skateboards.The instruction manual needs to be specifically written for this board, not the other models that Ninestep carries.I have learned that it is best to walk behind the board on large hill to extend the battery life.The initial battery that came with the unit was defective, but the people at Ninestep were very attentive to send me a new battery and answered my questions promptly.For the price point it is a good starter board for someone that does not want to embark on a DIY project or pay 2 or 3 times the price for another brand. It was the only board that had all the features that I was looking for in an electric mountain board. I will continue to look for ways to extend battery life. I am very hopeful that Ninestep can continue to have success in this market.

I have owned this board for a month no issues so far other than adjusting belts and screws but today I can excoutered a hardware issue I have no clue about. The remote reception has gone down couple days before this hardware issue acured. After opening up the battery housing I noticed a burnt hole in the protective lid and under that a something has definitely burnt and exploded! In the picture you can see the yellow connector has bloated and burnt the surrounding wires! The product has been very good to me very fun to ride!! And customer service have been good but now this I need it to be fixed!!! I will update this review after hearing from them and see what they will do afterall there is a 1year warranty.

So far so good, China is putting out a lot of eboards and not all of them are good but my Nine Step is functioning well and I hope the customer service is good if I have problems. Instructions might as well be in Chinese but setup is easy. Well I had my first problem the circuit board fried after less than a mile I contacted Ninestep and it was a very frustrating experience they finally sent me a new circuit board and I wired it up myself. If you are good at electonics and doing your own repairs I would still recommend this board if not find something with better customer service.
