At long last we reach volume 3 of How to Build a Dungeon, the first volume I had no prior knowledge of.Starting off this volume picks up when we last left off with Aur being stabbed by the guards of his captor; the female strategist. Aur is saved however by the strong female adventurer born under the Hero star that he had corrupted in the first volume. This leads to the end of the strategist and to Aur taking leadership of the kingdom she worked for, executing the previous king and taking the queen and her two daughters for himself.Now this might sound a bit sleazy, but as usual Aur surprises us with his reasonings. He apologizes to the queen, explaining why he had to kill the king, and makes it up to her by making her feel like a woman again. Sure he whispers dissenting things into her ears, but they ring true and soon enough he has another three beautiful women added to his already booming harem.Not everything is all peaches and cream though, as Aur has noticed that the female adventurer born under the Hero star has begun to regain her connection to 'good'. This prompts him to think of killing her before she become a problem, not trusting that she would stay by his side once she returned to who she was before they met. In the end he decides against it, claiming she still has some worth to him; though to anyone reading it's clear that he has grown fond of her.After this, Aur takes a bit of a detour. A town has cropped up near his dungeon, so he goes and investigates using a new puppet body he crafted to avoid a situation like the one the female strategist placed him in. He takes the local tour, learns a bit about the town's history, and then has his way with a female merchant who was behind its founding.This leads to an odd trip back through his own dungeon, as Aur uses the help of a skilled female thief to find the weak points of his defenses. He pretends to be on the way to defeat the demon king, but in the end turns around and reveals himself to be the king. The thief doesn't seem to mind too much though, and even joins his forces after spending an evening with Aur that most of the women who meet him do. This all leads to the biggest orgy Aur has had yet, enjoying his full harem to its fullest.There doesn't feel like much left for Aur to do, but volume 3 leaves us off with a hint of things to come. Another king, rather imposing, is informed of the Hero born female adventurer's whereabouts. He orders her return to him, or her death. Obviously Aur won't be willing to let one of his most powerful pawns go so freely, but with her returning to her senses things might become a bit tricky for our humanity hating overlord.
