I use these bulbs outside on my porch light, and the one by the garage. We have a very dark walkway, and I often would forget to turn on the porch light. Sometimes this would lead to me stumbling along in the evening coming home from work, or friends unable to walk up the path safely. This lights are always on after the sun goes down. I never have to worry about it any more. They also work (of course) when we're on vacation-- so the house always looks occupied. I love these bulbs. I've given these as gifts for that hard to buy something for person. Everyone loves light! Highly recommend.

Bought a set for the front of our home, like them so much I bought a set for the back as well. Live out in the woods and they are very dependable, cost is cheap, help with security, and overall have worked great.! The older type lights were very finicky and had to be in direct light. These sense the light no matter what position they are in.

This bulb was put in my front porch lamp in 2018 and is still going strong. The CON to this bulb is that it will work perfectly in a porch lamp because the bulb is facing downward & can detect dusk/dawn. When I put this bulb in my front yard light it stayed on CONSTANT. Front yard lamps have lids on them and I believe that is the issue.....the top of the bulb CANNOT detect dusk/dawn becasue of the lamp-post lid.

We use these lights outside of our garage and feel very protected. We purchased some for our next door neighbors and they love them, too! They go on at dusk and off at dawn keeping the lights on so that we can easily see what is going on in front of our homes. Love these!

Put these on the front porch to replace a timed attachment unit for the front porch. now no timer making noise which is great, and the switchplate looks normal again! The light quality looks a lot like a regular bulb, and I don't have to worry about the batteries for the automated switch that I had. Good.

I can open the door at night and the will be on. and coming home at night the help me see to get in the house.

Very cool product. Converts any light fixture into dusk to dawn light. So far so good and they are in an outside sealed light
