Hozelock Tricoflex 1780 0000 UV Light 12 W (TL), Transparent, 1.7 x 30.4 x 1.7 cm

When putting this in it didn't work brought another one from a pet shop thinking it maybe my filter but it worked fine with the shop brought one.By the time I managed to get out and buy another it was to later to send back.The should have checked the bulb before they send it out as now I'm out of pocket.

I'm putting this comment here in the hope it will prevent you wasting 3 hours looking for an electrical problem that isn't there.When you take the lid off to change the UV blub, there is a concealed switch near the water inlet which you must depress in order to confirm that the new bulb is working. This switch is usually pressed by a specific piece of plastic on the inside of the lid.Hope this helps
