Yes, it is a pain to put together because the instructions are awful but just looking at the pics here and finding a youtube video helps.It is kinda awkward to move and folding it seems more annoying than it is worth. I put this right at my couch and I have a nice set up. It adjusts quickly so my 7 yr old and I can take turns and adjust the height for each of us.Now for the review who said you can't hard mount the Thrustmaster T150 directly to it..... well, their top plate is installed incorrectly, if they flipped it around I bet you could screw it on. I would give it a 4-4.5 out of 5 but since that review was wrong, I made it 5. It is a solid piece. I recommend it if you don't feel like shelling out a lot of cash for this.

This is what any racing gamer need and forget to spend more money.This was $67.00 on sale ....the instructions are awful, just watch a video from the product description and you will figure out...be patient.Is heavy and real steel. Solid and sturdy, wheel and pedals mount perfectly, only part missing is one of the rubber feet that screw underneath to prevent sliding. The instructions was simple for me to follow, just separate the m screws, washers and nuts. The round heads are for mounting your hardware and shifter plate to arm. I like the fact that I can fold it down with hardware mounted and store away, only take up a foot of space, great product, very hard to find a replacement foot though.

I use this with a Logitech G29 wheel, pedals, and shifter. Metal feels sturdy and it was pretty easy to put together. It has pieces and holes so you can screw your racing gear to the stand. The pedals are a pain to adjust once you have them screwed in (you have to flip the stand over to unscrew and move them) but its super simple to adjust the wheel height which is basically all you do once you have your pedals situated.It wobbles a little when racing (especially if you're fighting force feedback) but its no big deal to me. I totally notice that it wobbles when racing but it doesn't distract or inhibit me from using the wheel/shifter or anything.

Everything worked well. Instruments fit great and are perfect for game play.Instructions were a challenge. Lighting was bad on the photos so details were obscured. The main issue was one of the welded mounting nuts for the feet broke off immediately. Haven't tried super glueing it back yet.

Overall, build quality is pretty good and very sturdy. It works for my Flight Sim equipment and was easy to mount. I would definitely recommend this if you want to use it for Flight Sim or Racing.Instructions were a little confusing, but easy to figure out - took about 15 minutes to put together. I think if they update the instructions sheet with the updated tools list they have supplied then it wouldn't be a problem. They have changed out a number of the M8 screws so you don't have the amount needed for the indicated instructions.

My son needed something better than a TV tray table for this steering wheel. Assembled in less than 30 minutes. Sturdy and adjustable. He now enjoys his steering wheel, shifter, and pedals while playing his xbox.

The quality of these stands are poor. There are a couple of welds under the top plate where the G29 wheel could clap to with its built in mounts.. I guess that was the idea. Really poor quality because on one side the weld is much larger bump and this causes the wheel to slip off after a little use. So while they wanted to have places to grip this does not work because of poor design / quality control. It is also pretty wobbly. And the instructions probably require a magnification device that is not included.
