Great product!
I was a little intimidated to use a paint sprayer at first, but this one is actually very beginner-friendly. Once you get the hang of it, it makes painting so much faster compared to brushes or rollers. The finish came out smooth and even, especially on larger surfaces. I liked that it comes with different nozzle options depending on what youโre working on. Cleaning does take a bit of time, so be prepared for that, but itโs worth it for the results. Great option if youโre doing DIY projects and want a more professional-looking finish.

Surprisingly good for such a low price.
I've used and owned other hvlp and airless sprayers before, and I am surprisingly impressed with this one, for the price. I was concerned that you can't adjust the airflow, only the fluid amount but after using it, I found that this wasn't an issue anyway. I sprayed 30 year old, painted, kitchen cabinets that had been lightly sanded and it came out as smooth as you can expect for older cabinet doors that weren't in great shape. At first, I sprayed the primer (Behr cabinet and trim primer) a little too thin. I was worried about going to heavy and getting drips and runs. but it turns out that I could have gone heavier. Then I did two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald trim paint, alkyd enamel water-based paint. Again, the first coat was probably a little lighter than necessary but by time I put on the second coat, I did go slower to get a heavier spray and it covered very well with no runs. I did have the cabinet doors laying flat, not hanging though so that might have helped the pain level out. The paint does need to be thinned considerably. The manufacturer recommends no more than 1/2 pint of water per gallon -- I'm not sure what I used but it was closer to a 1/2 pint per quart, in order to get it thin enough. You must use the thinning funnel to test how long it takes for the paint to drain from it to make sure you have it thinned enough. I thinned it to about 50 seconds until the cup was empty. However, on the primer, I didn't thin it quite as much and the tip clogged up a couple of times and it spat out large drops of primer so had to thin it a little more. Be sure to practice if you've never used and hvlp sprayer before. Do some nice, even passes, overlapping the previous pass by 50%. Start the sprayer when it's pointed just OFF of the piece your painting and continue across and end off the other side of the piece. Do not start and stop it on the thing you're painting itself (unless it's very large, like a house or fence) otherwise it will get too heavy where you do the turn around. I'd recommend this for smaller projects: shutters, doors, garage door, cabinets, furniture, maybe a deck -- but I'd go with a much faster Airless sprayer for larger things, like a wood fence, house, shed etc. This goes slower than an airless and you'd constantly need to be filling the cup with paint to finish the project. I definitely would NOT use it to paint walls in a room, it's way slower than a roller. I'd recommend using it for a closet though, since it's more difficult to manuever a roller in a small space. It uses surprisingly little paint to get good coverage though. I used under 1 gallon to cover both sides of 27 cabinet doors, 9 drawer faces and all the cabinet faces. I was surprised that's all it used. Overall, it works great for the price but, as with anything, a lot depends on the user's experience, comfort level and willingness to learn and practice.

Grate paint sprayer for DIY projects
Iโm really impressed with this paint sprayer. It was easy to assemble right out of the box and very user-friendly, even for someone who isnโt a professional painter. The spray patterns are adjustable, which made it simple to get an even, smooth finish on different surfaces. The motor is powerful and consistent, and it handled paint well without clogging as long as it was properly thinned. Cleanup was also much easier than I expected, which is a huge plus. It saved me a lot of time compared to using brushes or rollers and gave my project a more professional-looking result. Overall, this is an excellent value for the price and a great tool for home improvement or DIY projects. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable paint sprayer.

Spray Gun
The HVLP Spray Gun has been a surprise. The sprayer is well designed and simple to assemble and operate. I have used only latex-water based paint and found it easy to clean up after use. The little instruction manual is well written and covers most considerations, but I offer these suggestions: 1) Adjust the Rate of Flow (pa. 15) - practice with this by adjusting the rate of flow to the lowest setting and then adjust upward incrementally to learn how much spray you will actually get with each adjustment. I didn't read the section closely and used it on the setting it was on as received and the spray was way-too thick. As a result, I'm having to sand down some runs on my project and respray. My fault...not the sprayer's. 2) If you are going to use paint from a can that is left over from another job I highly recommend that you filter the paint through a filter that is included with the sprayer. The paint in a previously opened can will collect particles and sediment, and if those contaminants are not removed they will clog the spray nozzles. 3) Purely as a matter of convenience: use a sharpie-permanent marker and mark the sizes on the spray nozzles so that you can clearly see the sizes. The sizes are marked in the tiniest print on the inside and they are virtually impossible to see without a magnifying glass. Good luck...

Paid for itself in one day.
I bought this sprayer to treat a new fence. It turned out to be the right tool for the job. It works like a carburetor attached to blow dryer. The smaller the nozzle, the finer the mist. The trigger turns on the blow dryer, while it also regulates the fluid flow. There is and adjustable stop for setting the maximum flow. I sprayed undiluted BLO onto cedar pickets. The smallest nozzle with the flow valve 2/3 open provide the best result. I treated both sides of an 80 ft fence in four hours. Only had to brush the tops of the boards. Clean up was an easy five minutes job. I am happy with the results.

Surprised it was good
.Don't buy a wagner or graco. I bought this for my wife to use., and she was able to paint with it real easy, spray sherwin williams paint no problem , no thinning or anything did a great job even the cleaning of it was easy definitely worth the money.

Works Great - Ignore the viscosity charts
One thing to consider with this is the viscosity cup and suggested ratings for latex paint and primer are garbage. Ignore the cup and dilute your paint lightly. You should only be diluting latex paint with 1/2 cup of water per gallon. If you try and use the cup to get the exact specified numbers, youโll be going half water and half paint and end up with a diluted splattery mess. That being said, once I stopped worrying about the perfect measurement and just threw a splash of water in, this thing does the job as advertised. It painted a nice coat over my dresser and did not disappoint. The next step is spraying the polyurethane for the stained wood on top, we will see how it performs.

Exceptional paint sprayer for the money. Almost makes painting fun!!!
I finally got to use my Christmas present and it did not disappoint me. My painting experience is novice at best but I have done enough around the house to know painting can be time consuming. I do own a much larger paint spraying machine but the set up and clean up is a major pain. I was able to use this paint sprayer without even reading the instructions, that is how easy it is to operate. It was able to cover a wide area with each pass. Most of my time was spent masking the exterior of my tool shed. The painting was a breeze. I did have to thin the paint just slightly but it did not alter the coverage. The spray nozzle adjustment made the job even easier. The only minor issue would be the size of the paint container. However, if I wanted to do the job without refilling the container I could have used my larger machine and spent a lot more time with the set up and clean up. Cleaing this machine was very easy. Based on my experience wtih this machine I am now looking for things to paint around my house. Next time I will read the instructions. Who knows, it may cut my time spent painting even more. Well worth the price!
