Love these little things!
These are probably for the paranoia-minded, but I think they're great. They are TINY and after they are applied, they appear to be original equipment even if the color doesn't match. I have one on my Fire tablet and one on my Mac Air which has a silver frame. Looks like it belongs there, and looks much better than a piece of tape over the camera lens for sure! The little round part that slides to cover and uncover the lens is held in place on the base by magnetic force, and works very well. The sliding dot on the Mac laptop has stayed in place, but the one on the Fire tablet has become detached twice in several months of daily use. I often fall asleep using the tablet, and the little round sliding part has come off in the bedcovers. Luckily I noticed it was missing and found it easily. If you don't use a cover with your tablet, just be aware that the sliding part might become detached in your purse or briefcase if something rubs against this gadget. It goes back on very easily and works like new, but the trick of course would be in finding such a tiny part. These come three to a pack, so I have an extra if needed. It's never come off while I was actually using the tablet, so I don't see it as a big problem, just something that can happen especially if not covered. If you don't like that eye staring you in the face, these are an inexpensive and unobtrusive way to stop that and still look good. I didn't have any problems attaching them to my devices, but I can see that that might be tricky for some with sausage fingers. The adhesive attaches them quite securely if you thoroughly clean the surface first. Great little gadgets for the paranoid!

Delightfully Slim Overall Design for Privacy, but Some Installation Problems
The Good: -This camera blocker does its job while still being thin enough to fit around my screen protector so that I don't have to replace the camera blocker every time I might need to replace the screen protector. - It also doesn't allow any light in from the sides of the closure when closed because of how it is designed while also maintaining a hole big enough to not obstruct the camera lens when open while still being thin, unlike some cheaper/bulkier camera blockers. - The thin design also allows me to close my laptop fully without any worries. The Bad: - Installing this would be so much easier if it came with some cheap custom tweasers instead of having to try and hold it flat with my fingernails that could corrupt the glue in the process of installing this item. I tried using two different tweasers of my own to install this, but neither were able to hold it firm because this is magnetic; the item would either flip over and magnetically stick to my tweasers or some metal within my phone as I tried to install it without my fingernails. - I don't understand why this item had to be magnetic, it made me nervous cause you are not supposed to mix magnetic things over screens and technology with metal parts because the magnet could move them from under the screen and could mess up their positioning within your hardware, but the piece is small enough for me to think it was not too immediate of a problem, but it still worries me. - Also, the package came with only one pair of cleaning wipes but there are three camera protectors, so I needed to find my own lint free wipes for installing the second and third camera blockers. The Future: I'll report back if I have any problems with the stability of this item, in regards to how long it will stay on and if it fails to do so, or not, but so far I haven't had any problems of the sort for the few days I have had it. Overall, this product is still fabulously designed for doing well at it's job, despite the installation issues it had.

Perfect for laptop cam, good for phone selfie cam
The devices are completely effective (i.e. no image gets through), simple, small, and easy to install. The risk is putting one on your phone selfie camera because the slider portion can come off when rubbing against something, like in your pocket or purse. The base piece sticks to your device (phone or laptop) with an adhesive (after taking the backing off like a sticker). If you are a perfectionist be careful because if it ends up askew it might bother you a lot, and I doubt it would be easy to remove and place back on again. The small disc piece that slides is magnetically attracted to the base piece, which makes for a simple and easy to use slider. However, it also means that it can detach with sufficient rubbing. That's not much of an issue with a tablet or laptop, but it is a risk with a phone. Within a couple of hours of installing it the disc had come off in my pocket, but for the last 3 days I've been more cautious and haven't had a problem. Time will tell if I've learned how to handle it well enough to decrease the risk without having to think about it.

Super tiny and barely noticeable
This is probably one of the smallest webcam covers I've ever seen. It's super small, light as a feather (quite literally), and, most importantly, super thin. I have this adhered to my newly, acquired Surface 7 Pro and, while it covers up the webcam nicely, it does not get in the way of one used for the face recognition. Applying it takes literally seconds to a minute. It uses an adhesive to attach to the device. While the process is not difficult, if I were to offer any single inconvenience, it's that it will attempt to slide around as you press down on it (per the instructions advice). Once its applied how you want it, LEAVE IT ALONE for a good while until the adhesive sticks more firmly. Opening and closing the cover is pretty reliable. It's so super thin that it, even closing the keyboard cover does not get in the way. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

If you care about your privacy - BUY THIS!
Like many people I talk to, I never realized the risk from cameras that are built in to all our devices until one day when I was watching Shark Tank. There was a product on there that covered your camera, but allowed you to take it off (unlike the sticker I see many people using), when you had a video call. In the age of working from home, many people are having Zoom, Skype and Facetime meetings, but I wasn't willing to give up my privacy. So, I found this on Amazon and gave it a try Pros: - Size - Even with the slim bezels on my Macbook Pro, this thing fits perfectly! It's slim, but still covers the camera - I tested it and you can't see anything, nor can you even see if a light is on when the cover is closed. - Magnetic Close - I was a bit skeptical when I saw this was magnetic, because I assumed the cover slide would fall off. Well, after several airplane trips - it's still there! It's really easy to open and close the cover, and I've never had any issues with it falling off - Laptop Closing - Note that some other products have an issue with damaging your laptop screen when closed, because the added thickness of the cover ends up pressing against the screen. On my Macbook Pro 13 and 16, this is NOT an issue. Also, I've put this on iPads, iPhones, and other PCs (Lenovo, Dell, and HP), and we've had no issues. Cons: None so far - just make sure you keep track of these things - they're so small, you won't be able to find them if you misplace them!

Great for laptop, just okay for tablet, didn't work for phone
This is perfect my laptop. It’s super tiny/slim, nearly invisible, stays closed when not in use, it’s easy to slide open, and stays put right where I originally stuck it. It’s just okay on my tablet. The little magnetic disc is in the open position every time I open my tablet case. The cover/frame also slides ever slightly from its original position and I have to gently move it back into place about once a week. Occasionally, the little round magnetic slider will come out of the frame. If you see it happen, it’s easy enough to put back. If you don’t see it happen, it’s very small and thus, difficult to find. Did not work AT ALL on my phone. Within hours of installing it, the entire cover was gone. I have no idea when/where it came off. Not surprising given that my phone (like most) goes from my handbag to my pocket to my car console and back to my handbag or pocket several times per day and the adhesive can’t stand up to frequent friction. If you have your phone in a full case, this might not be an issue.

All Three Items Failed Within Two Days ! Caveat Emptor ! (See my "2¢ Solution" Below)
I have a lot of experience with mounting adhesive items. I clean the mounting surface with fresh alcohol. I peel the protective covering off carefully using a special artist's knife. I place the item with tweezers in exactly the right place and press hard against the mounted item with continuous pressure for 45 seconds. For years, this method has caused the job to NEVER fail. Because this item is so tiny with almost no substantial adhesive area to hold it on, these devices are doomed to early death. (Incidentally, you will need a professional crime site forensic team to find any one of these that fall to the floor. These tiny items, when mounted on computer glass surfaces around tiny lenses held for two days. Then all three failed and fell off and two disappeared altogether. It was like an episode of Candid Camera. I expected Allen Funt to pop out and say, "Smile, You're On Candid Camera! Not so funny tho when you've worked hard to mount these items on three different computers and they all fail. I can pretty much guarantee that they will not last on any cell phone glass or other portable item if the phone is in a case or lives in a purse. "Caveat Emptor." Buyer Beware! I now use a small neatly cut tiny strip of paper (or "non-paper) dressing tape from a tape roll or dispenser like Nexcare Sensitive Skin Tape or Band-Aid Brand First Aid Hurt-Free Medical Adhesive Paper Tape. Sticks forever and prevents any image from passing through. In a few months you will want a fresh look and these will peel-off without leaving any residue for about 2¢ per patch. Note: I fold a tiny end piece flap over to keep the tape from being difficult to remove when Face Time calls come in. When the call is over, simply press the tape again for privacy.

Meh W/UPDATE!
Got these with mixed expectations. I found them on a lightning deal for a reasonable price and figured I didn’t have much to lose. Well, turns out I love these little gadgets. When applied as per instructions (you may need a magnifying glass to actually be able to read) these stick extremely well. Once they set, the slide is easy to move. They are small, inconspicuous and effective. I recommend these. UPDATE: I no longer can say these are as great as I mentioned. It’s only been about a week and with little to no disturbance, one has already fallen off my laptop and the one on my tablet lost the little dot that slides. It just popped right off when I slid it the first time. I got it back on but still... Meanwhile, the one on my phone has stayed in place through it all. In and out of my pocket, sliding back and forth, and so far has withstood being in triple digit heat while I’m out. It did move just a tiny bit but didn’t fall off or move away from the camera. I don’t like that out of 3 sliders, only one is decent but I don’t have high hopes for its longevity. I no longer can say that I recommend these with much enthusiasm.

Terrible adhesive
The adhesive is weak, meaning that the cover does not stay in place. I constantly have to re-adjust the positioning of the cover to remain over the camera. I do not recommend this product.
