Very Nice
It is nice product with display showing load and output voltage...However it is not what I needed for only one thing ...If the device is powered down by unplugging it you have to manually turn it on again after power is presented...... for my application it doesn't do work because i have power amp from japan on it which powers up subbase speakers I use 12V triggered power relay to control power strip and because transformer doesnt come back on its own this is not bueno for me......

Exactly what I needed
I needed a step down transformer for two powerful audio amplifiers from Japan that I got in January. The previous owner of the amps had miscalculated the necessary wattage, so I had to replace the little one he gave me with this one. This thing is exactly what I expected and does exactly what I need. Installation was simple; transformer plugs into the wall, one amp plugs into one side, the other amp plugs into the other side. My amps are safe, powerful, and happy. The transformer displays are fun, cool, and reassuring but after awhile I tend to ignore them. The soft turn on is frosting on the cake. I may or may not have received a returned, used, or refurbished unit, but I don’t care. It looks pristine and works great.
