CLASS 2 Safety Vests for Men, Heating&Cooling Work Vest with Battery Pack, Hi-Vis Vest

Bright yellow, reflective safety vest is is easy to wear, made of quality materials (e.g., 3M branded reflective tape), and weighs just under 2 lbs with the power pack.For sizing, the XL was comfortably loose on a person who wears a 42L suit. The vest is machine washable (remove the electronic components and air dry) but to maximize lifespan less laundering is probably better.The unit has 6 settings - 3 cooling which uses 4 small, barely noticeable fans to circulate air away from the cooling units. The heating elements also have three settings.For actually utility, there are 4 heating/cooling units - one mounted under each arm and two mid-back over to the right/left of the spine. The cooing units do produce a small cooling patch (perhaps the size of an old silver dollar) which does help reduce core body temperature slightly. For heating, the units again produce a localized hot spot under the arms and over the spine so the vest does perform as described.From a practical standpoint, in cool weather on would probably wear the vest over a jacket/sweatshirt which will lessen the heating effect - it will still produce heat but that heat will need to penetrate the insulating fabric.Overall, a good concept, certainly has use in the summer in warm/hot climates (e.g., road crew) and it absolutely is a bright, compliant safety vest .Good vest, sized correctly - does work to cool the four spots but heating may be diminished when wearing the vest over layers of clothes.

The Cooling Saftey Vest is very nice. The vest in my opinion is too expensive for what it does. Four stars for the quality of the vest and the concept of the product. The vest does cool. It feels cool by touch but I really didnt feel that it would keep me cool in the heat. I only felt the coolness of the pads on my back while wearing a tank top. The instructions were kinda vague. It says you can change the settings but it doesnt say how. I was clicking on the pads but it didnt seem to do anything. Guess I have to research to find out how to change to the heat element and other settings. The vest never changed settings by just clicking. Otherwise, it is a good quality saftey vest that reflects well.

My husband used this vest when checking on his crew on a construction site. I ordered an extra large but seems to be just a tad too snug. Otherwise it’s great. Very different as it can cool in the summer and heat in the winter. He hadn’t tried those yet but I will try to update when he does

I really like this vest and the quality of the workmanship. They use only top-notch materials in the construction of this vest. 3M is the reflective material used and of course, is excellent quality. The cooling elements really work great and has 3 settings. This vest will be great for anyone working in the summer time outside, especially in southern states who want a vest that actually cools you down. The warming elements have 3 settings too and could really help you stay warm in the winter. I would highly recommend this safety vest. It is a good one, with great features.

The pads inside work awesomely. Get super cold and heat up just as quickly. It’s going to make a huge difference on all these hot days coming up.
