What a difference hydraulic brakes make! I had a heavy fat-tyre e-bike with mechanical brakes. Now I have a heavy fat-tyre e-bike with hydraulic brakes. The whole braking experience has been transformed. Easy to install. The only problem for me is that the front hose is a tiny bit short. Very little play for the cable routing. Be sure to measure how much hose you need. And, of course, you have to disconnect the brake sensors from your controller.
