I bought this polishing compound to see if it would improve the final finish on the polymer clay pieces that I make. I do wet sand my pieces before I polish and buff them. I have found that this compound does make a difference in the level of smoothness and shine that I can achieve. It is easy to use, not messy, and from what I have seen so far, this little block will last me a long time. I am really pleased with the final result. I use a Dremel with a wool buffing wheel to finish my pieces and I put this polishing compound right on the buffing wheel. I get a very high gloss, glass like finish by the time I am done. I will purchase this product again when I need more.

This is a good quality product. I've had others that weren't as consistent quality as this one.

Had some really really old tarnished silver jewelry and was able to use this product also I was told it is called a rouge stick and you just rub it on not the jewelry but the cloth or the Dremel attachment that's cotton I suppose and it really brings us most lustrous shine without wearing down the jewelry I loved it

I'm a master jewelry designer.. this fall short of the rouge that I am used to using. It looks like rouge, but doesn't seem to carry the polishing capability that I was expecting.

I never bought this before and consequently did not know how big one ounce piece would be. It isn't even as long as a crayon. Now I see that Amazon sells this product 4 pieces that equal 5 ounces for the same price. This is an overcharge.

Same price for 1oz as a 14oz bar from Lee Valley tools. Not sure if this is somehow different quality, but it seems identical to the old bar I was replacing, just way smaller.
