Psycho Juice 70 Percent Ghost Pepper (Pack of 2)

One of my favourite sauces. To be honest i now own most of the Psycho range and they are all good. The heat is very hot but as it is natural it feels different to the extract sauces. I can eat by the teaspoon but my wife stood with a glass of milk for 10 minutes after a tiny dip with the end of a teaspoon (very funny). I have bought this for many people as gifts and they all like it.

If you where able to drink lava, I think this is what it would feel like, I have tasted many hot sauces and this is by far the hottest.

Great value and nice and spicy, there are probably those out there who’ll claim it’s not spicy but they are lying or trying to impress someone, add a few drops of this to any dish u need to kick up a notch

Quality Gone bad since last 2 year8

Low rating because this sauce bigs up the "pain", "chilliheads" etc. Admittedly I'm coming to this after working my way through a bottle of Fiery Fool which is very hot. I added (by weighing the difference between the used & full bottle) 10g to a plate of curry and it was warm, certainly nothing to write home about in terms of flavour or heat. In the end it's fairly runny even though thickener is used as an ingredient. No expert but I suspect the 70% ghost pepper content has some generous marketing tolerance for reductions during cooking.Either way if you are just a "vindaloo phwoar" type chillihead no doubt this will satisfy, but will not for people wanting extreme heat.

This is not a 3 star review based on the quality of the sauce, but rather on the heat level. All of the hot sauces I own have become mild and uninteresting so I decided to delve into the more especially hot chili variety sauces. I was ready to be sweating (and i sweat on a mild irish morning) and dribbling but i got neither. It is admittedly the hottest sauce i own but it is not very hot at all. I can eat this like ketchup. I ended up putting a tablespoon on a single egg and wmy lips were tingling for about 5 minutes. I guess the search continues.

I always get disappointed when buying 'hot' sauces from supermarkets but not this one. The burning sensation starts at a low level and increases exponentially. However, the best part is that although it is burning like hell in your mouth you are still able to taste the pepper flavour. I think this is important because after all that's the purpose of sauces. In addition, the plus side is that it'll last you for a few months since only a small amount is required per usage, so the small bottle is more than adequate.

This pepper sauce is insanely hot and tasty, I strongly recommend it!
