The spool gun seems ok, but it didn't come with any instructions, which wouldn't be a problem except I've never ran a spool gun before , and it would have helped. Also it didn't come with a replacement drive roller like arc captain.

I'll give it five stars because of yeswelders customer service. The gun works great although i believe mine came missing the piece that applies pressure to the spool so it doesn't free spin inside the gun. I contacted yeswelder through email and after sending them pictures they told me to keep this gun and they will send me a whole new unit free of charge. I will continue to buy yeswelder products after this excellent customer service experience good job guys and girls!

Quality made works good

Bought this spool gun for use with my Yeswelder 250 Pro. The gun is easy to setup and balances well in my hand and it is well constructed. Most spool guns have a clear plastic cover over the feeding mechanism this one has a black plastic cover but there really is no need to view the mechanism once the wire is fed through. I get better aluminum welds with this spool gun vs the mig gun with Teflon liner and I don't have to be concerned about keeping the hose from crimping. The spool gun nozzle also rests well in my mig gun nozzle holder. This spool gun comes with extra tips and a wrench.

Good spool gun to get small projects done. Some plastic parts will wear out after heavy use. The parts can be replaced

The gun worked fine for the first day. The second day the wire drive motor failed. The motor tried to turn but the gear box is locked up. Going to replace and try again.

I haven’t used it yet, just getting the machine set up, but I think it will do the job. Probably better ones out there but for occasional use it will be fine. Consumables are easily aquired

Working well.. into my third spool of wire .. get some extra tips if your just staring out welding aluminum 😊

Had issues feeding alum wire, was resolved after a liner replacement. Now works like a dream.

easy to take apart and solder a 4 pin connector for a different brand of welder.
