Good book to get kids
I like that it's something that kids can learn from . Images are very good. I would have liked it more if the words choosen would rhyme more

A gem of a book
My grandson loves this book, and so do I. I'd give it ten stars if I could. Excellent artistic detail, up-to-the-minute gender ID (some of the drivers are men and some are women), and instructive without being heavy-handed. Five different kinds of trucks are shown, one at a time, all with some sort of common purpose, which we don't find out until the end. Even though there's no mystery anymore, my grandson and I love to get to the last page and say Takeoff! The book has something to offer children from young toddlers to the kindergarten crowd. I borrowed it from the library, read it to my boy by Skype, then together in person when he returned, and then bought it from Amazon because it belongs in our family library.

Great for transportation enthusiasts!
Not many words in this book, but wonderful pictures of vehicles kids will see at an airport. My 5-year-old grandson loves all things to do with transportation, and he and his family take a plane when they come to visit, so he really likes this book. On a recent visit, he chose this almost every night for one of his bedtime books. One other thing that I liked: Both men and women are shown as the operators of the vehicles.

Great prep for an airplane trip
The book focuses on five trucks that you see at an airport. It was a great book for our two year old grandson who loves trucks and was going on a trip in an airplane.

So Simple, but the Little Guy Loves It
This book is really quite simply, but our little guy (20 months) wants to read it over and over (and over)!

Being an award winning illustrator doesn't mean the book is good(note to self) The writing was flat; the book was meant to inform but didn't draw the reader in with a story.

... interested in airports and trucks then you'll be very happy with this book
Five stars - if your young one is interested in airports and trucks then you'll be very happy with this book. Simple, very clear and memorable text that my son was able to memorise and repeat after just a few days of hearing this story. The artwork is good as well - realistic but interesting to a child's eyes.
