Pretend You're a Politician
This American flag pin is great for politicians or people who want to look like politicians. Stick it on the lapel of your navy jacket and walk around self-importantly. Pair it with a white shirt and a long, red tie for extra patriotism (or at least faux patriotism - it seems all the rage these days). Signal to those who see you that you support the USA. Or at least some version of the USA that appeals to you. Or maybe what you think the USA used to represent. Or maybe when the Olympics are going on. Lots of uses. The clasp works. The pin looks like a pin and is the right size.

Perfect for My Jacket
Who knew a tiny flag could make such a big statement? This American Flag Lapel Pin has added more flair to my suit than a bald eagle landing on my shoulder. The colors are so vibrant, I've had to reassure people it's not a miniature Fourth of July parade. The craftsmanship is so sharp, you could almost say it's been through basic training. And the butterfly clasp? Stronger than my resolve when passing a hot dog stand. (well, that's not very strong. But considering this price, it's better than I expected) If you want to wear your patriotism on your collar—literally—this pin is a must-have. Just be prepared for spontaneous bursts of the Star-Spangled Banner.

Beautiful but made in China
Very well made with vibrant details and secure clasp. For some reason I was under the impression these pins were made in the US, but they're actually made in China.

If you’re reading this review obviously you’ve seen some of the other options you can get. I actually went for one of the 12 for $12 options even though I had no idea what I would do with 12 lapel pins. Sure, they were fine, there was nothing “wrong” with them, but they just looked cheap. I shelled out twice as much for just two of these Dessert Cactus pins and I have to say… it’s worth the premium. The quality just shows, from the richness of the colors to the fact that their American flag actually has all 50 stars. Love the American flag ones I got so much I decided I would get a couple of my state flag pins as well!
