Morgan Products 12-inch Plastic No-Slip Hoop

Really impressed with the Morgan hoop no more slipping fabric it stays put

I don’t have to tighten my projects at all. The hoop has a tongue and groove type of design all the way round which stops the fabric from moving. It’s a well made product and a worthwhile investment for more many projects to come. I bought the 12” which I worried would be quite big but it’sa really nice size. It’s great for making designs to go on an 11” display hoop or smaller if you want that edge to edge design look.

Got this for doing punch needle/rug hooking projects. Its perfect. You can't really use a regular embroidery hoop as the fabric isn't taught enough. This hoop is great and then you can transfer your finished piece to a frame or use a cheap bamboo hoop then cover the frame with a blanket stitch of yarn. Good size too as you can make large projects that really stand out. Also, thanks for making this available to UK! Its an American product where rug hooking seems to be very popular but in UK its just starting out and not as many products available.

I am using this for punchneedle embroidery . It is sturdy enough to take the thickness of the 'punched' fabric [which is like a condensed rug effect when worked ] as I move it around form section to section. I am working on a piece about 24" x 24" square, and the frame does a great job. Grips tightly and locks into place. The opening allows a good range of fabric thicknesses to be worked with. I am very pleased. May go for the biggest one when I have the cash.

this is the creme de la creme of embroidery hoops. I do masses of free motion machine embroidery and this hoop is excellent for that. No shifting in the material, silk, which a miracle. Large screw making it easy to tighten. AAAA+++
