I purchased the OFFO Bird Spikes to stop pigeons from landing on my garden fence and eating away at my plum tree, and they have done just that! The quality is top-notch — the stainless steel base is strong, durable, and weather-resistant, which is perfect since I live in a place with unpredictable weather. The spikes themselves are sharp enough to deter birds but still safe to handle during installation.The strips were a manageable size and quite easy to install. Once in place, they blended in surprisingly well and didn’t ruin the look of my fence. Most importantly: they work! Within a day or two, the pigeons stopped trying to land in their usual spots. Why did you choose this product over others?:Great price and looked like what I needed. I needed the product to stop my cat jumping from the fence onto the sunroom roof. It works brilliantly

Good metal pressings. Enough spikes. Should do the job perfectly. Each strip is 2cm shorter than specs. Don't look too unsightly. Enough fixing holes for screws. Should stop the cats from waking me up all night jumping over the fence onto my window. Wire thick enough to bend if necessary but not thin enough to flatten. Update. Don't stop cats from jumping on and over fence. They just walk right on and over.

Keeps magpies and other large bird off the tree branch where my 4 bird feeders hang. The small birds now have the chance to get to the food. You do have to fit the double spikes into the base plate which is a bit laborious. You have the option of spikes in a straight in line manner, or at right angles to the base giving a vee shape along the base. There were left over spikes so you could do both which is a little over kill.

Today I fixed 1 length on top of a gate to stop our cat from getting onto the flat roof which it seems to think is a toilet! However Later I noticed said cat had got onto the roof, probably by making a big leap over the top of the row of spikes. She jumped down ONTO the spikes and then jumped off the gate. She seems to be uninjured after this! I will order another pack to extend the length covered. Hoping this works. Fixing was very easy using screws and assemble from flat very rapid.

I have put these together but haven't actually put them on the roof yet - I get seagulls pecking at the rubber around a window. However they don't look very big and I'm not sure how effective they will be as I can envisage the seagulls standing on one side of the row of spikes and still being able to peck over the top of them, so I have ordered another set of larger ones as well and I'll make a double row to hold them back. Update: I put the bigger ones nearest the window and then the silver ones beyond to make a further row for them to have to stretch over to reach the window, and it works perfectly. No more seagulls as they can't reach now.
