Made of tough silicone, this mould can be used hundreds of times to produce high detail plaster of paris casts which can then be painted. These are excellent teaching aids for classroom activities. Mould Size: 6.5 x 7.0 cms. Plaster cast size: 4.8 x 4.3 cms.

The quality of the item now being shipped is shockingly bad
This mould is not a professional retail-quality mould. It looks home-made, the silicone looks contaminated and has not been degassed (it has more bubbles than an aero), and is a physically different ammonite to the picture with very little detail coming through in the finished casting. Definitely not worth 10,95

Really great. You're probably not supposed to, but we used it as a mould to make chocolate fossils. :-)

Works with texture paste!
I have used this mould with artists' texture paste and it has come out cleanly without any release agent being needed. The texture paste is a mix of PVA glue, white acrylic paint, bicarb and talcum powder.
