These are handy and do the job of keeping socks together. But not sure why they have to be so big!

Definitely 5 stars for these.These are cleverly thought out plastic clips that hold your socks firmly in the wash and enable them to be clipped on a washing line or over a radiator dryer bar whilst still clipped together.My current machine doesn't 'eat' socks but in the past, I've found them trapped by the drum of my then machine as it spun, chewed up by the action and deposited in a wet, raggy heap under the machine to be found weeks later. That explained where some, if not all, of them went to.The jaws of the clip are tight enough to hold the smallest baby socks together but expand enough to accommodate thick walking socks in a wool wash. There is a slight clicking noise when they are in the machine, but I'm used to that from the plastic gel detergent dispenser I use,At the time of writing this review it's a wet, cold winter, they won't be going out on the washing line, once out of the machine, but the integral hooks that enable the clips to be firmly hooked over the line were one of the most appealing features to me of the product. Some other designs that I have seen keep the socks together in the wash but they have to be separated from the sock clip/holder to be dried. With no metal parts to the clip, rusting won't be an issue. As the clips keep the socks together so neatly, they probably won't be left on the washing line for lengthy periods so the plastic being photostable, not degrading in sunlight, probably won't be much of an issue.Wide concave, circular finger/ thumb pads at the top of each clip making pressing the clip open a breeze. The curved plastic strip joining the two halves of the clip together looks like it will stand up to a lot of pressure.For the smaller household of 1-2 persons a pack of 10 should be ample.

These just don't stay on properly through the washing machine. They are OK for pairing socks in a sock drawer but some will come adrift if you put them through the wash like that. Disappointing.

Very useful. The main problem is getting the rest of my family to use them. The plastic clip occasionally snags a sock so I’ve knocked off a star for that.

Am not sure quite how robust these are going to be but fingers crossed.

Don't hold socks on Line. Very sharp so could damage material.

The sock-savers are a great product, I love the convenience of being able to keep all my socks in place. My socks are constantly disappearing, making myself crazy to find a pair of socks (same kind!!!). A friend suggested me to get those simple sock clips designed to keep all my socks in order, seems I got those small clips I almost enjoy doing my laundry. The clips shape is cute and there are many different colours, they are very strong and it can withstand high temperatures. I strongly recommend those clips, there are easy to use and they can save your time.

Brilliant. So much easier than the push-through variety. I keep them in a bag beside the laundry basket so socks are paired as soon as we take them off. I wash them in a bag to prevent any damage to my new machine.
